Thanks Tom.

I reworked the leade and bullets load much easier. Test 5 of each weight. Then changed hammer spring to a 10lbs one. Using the 10lbs I shot a string using the 79gr. Then another with 1 turn of preload.

Original hammer spring looks good for a hunting load with the 110 gr.... 179 FPE peak, tight 2% ES over 5 shots.... As the bullets get lighter, it ends up being first shot fastest....

I also like the first string with the 79 gr. and the 10 lbs. spring, it starts down only 3% below the peak (917 fps - 148 FPE) and gives you 12 shots within 4% ES.... A fraction under 1 turn of preload would give you a 2% string of 6 shots at 153 FPE.... but unless you need the tight ES and extra 20 fps for that last bit of range, I think the 12 shot string would be my choice.... probably uses a lot less air, too....

Well life has been getting in the way. I got all the aluminum anodized. I just ordered a die for chasing the threads on one of the couplings that I dinged a thread on.

Ok finally got the final machining done. Aluminum parts are anodized and the steel tubes are blued. I'm not happen with the bluing. It's all splotched up. When I get some extra money I'll order some more of the Oxpho-blue from Brownells and redo it. I twice baked the Carbonfiber tube to the barrel using Loctite 638 per Bob Sterne's write up. Final assembly is done and now I need to find the time to start the stock.

Ok I just want to thank everyone again that gave me technical help here on GTA. Also anyone one that has commented on the thread that I have missed.

It's complete except to sight it in. I took the Mueller off my .25 to use on this build and will get something else for it.
