My RSII with a TJ 1:16 bbl grouped them very well at 20 yds but by 50 yds was all over the place. Too bad, they looked promising.

Anyone measure them for length, weight, diameter, nose length and Ogive R?  If not, we should.  Then we can run them through twist calculator.  I'm guessing that they are a swagged product so consistency should be good.  Likely a mismatch to twist rate.

They are swagged, to perfect to be a cast bullet, i did not measure other than length and diameter. They (.356 Grizzly) I think shoot pretty good out of my Recluse, if I had a better trigger they would do better than 1.5" at 65 yards. Lets face it an 1.5" group at 65 yards on a big bore AG that has only had maybe 50 rounds shot through it and not even broke in isn't bad and could be tuned too do pretty good I think.

Yep I also made the mistake of ordering 2 tins 😡 yet have not even tried them yet, but if other evanix don't like them,  why would mine be any different? Oh well  guess I will just play with them at close range to see there destructive qualities😈.  The only thing else coming down the pipeline is the JSB.35 polymag which will be short range also mostlikely

Have you tried the Grizzly's yet?
The biggest problem I see with so many guns not shooting these and other bullets/pellets is, most all these pellets and mostly bullets are made for 9mm guns Not .357! Those are 2 completely different gun calibers with way different specs in bore size. Most of our Big bore AG's are .357+ not .356 and under. You have to have a tighter fitting bullet in the Sam Yang and the FX's as well as others. My Recluse shoots them ok (not perfect) because the barrel is a little tighter! The JSB .35 pellets do good due to being .362 average on the skirt.

Wish they would either make a 9mm gun and a true .357 or not make one at all. Its like trying to shoot .22's in a .25.

Nice, I am glad they work well in the RAW.

Just if you have or know anyone that has a Cricket .35 cal. tell them not to shoot these in it, they do not seat far enough past the Transfer Port and it deforms the skirt and will cause them to clip the baffles. They cover about 25% of the TP opening 

I think they may shoot good out of a Cricket if the Bolt probe was a bit longer, but not sure then if the mag would rotate!

I like them in my Sam Yang, I just need to get it tuned a little better!

You may be onto something here.  With all of the awful reports coming in I wonder if seating depth may be a primary cause.......

Looks to me to have a couple of issues that are negative to the performance.  Too short OAL, skirt  isn't needed if the bullet is sized to the bore correctly, Meplat is too small, ogive too small.  All of this probably leaves the bullet with a CG that is too far forward.  I would imagine that since the bullet doesn't ride the bore uniformly and relies on the skirt that it is wagging it's tail, helix style, as it goes down range.  Bob has done great work with his BBT designs. These Grizzly bullets are marketed as a general purpose bullet. They likely wanted to hit 9mm and .357 owners.  So many products are done this way, wether it be a blender or a bullet.  Once the end users come to realize that it isn't suited for their application, The producer has, at least, made the production and marketing cost back.  One size fits all works a whole lot better with blenders than it does with bullets.  We are a relitively small market and picky as all get out.  Anyone who enters this market better have thick skin and honestly try to put out a superior product.  Flops happen, it the nature of this bussiness. But buck shot marketing just doesn't have a place here, at the level of expectation that our community has.  IMO the bullet should go to the big side rather than small.  Manufacturers really need to standardize dimensions for barrels, they seem to be all over the place.  This would allow barrel and bullet makes to be on the same sheet of music.  Yea, easier said than done and what do I know, I've never even tried to make a barrel.  so, until those planets align, we will be religated to either finding or making a bullet that performs to our expectations.  Too bad this isn't one of them, I have alway liked their products.  And a great thanks to those who have absorbed the cost of finding out what does work and what doesn't.

Wow, That is a pretty short bullet to not clear the transfer port.  So would that be a probe issue?

0.200 is the skirt depth. How does this compare to a JSB?  Any amount hanging over the TP is going to cause problems.

I'm hoping to shoot a Cricket .357 this coming week,...I will look at the probe and stuff, but sure it don't make much sense that it can't get the Grizzly past the Transfer Port

The ID at the base of the Grizzly is huge (0.200").  Hard to imagine any probe large enough to catch on the skirt but if it did it would seat the bullet deeper.

Very good 25 yard group.  I really want to see what they do in that gun further out.  They are nice looking bullets but i wish they would have made them a little bigger in O.D.
