.35 Cal. H&N Grizzly and JSB EXACT Size's w/pics- & 65 yrd Groups

I ordered 3 tins of JSB Exact .35 Pellets for my .357 Recluse as well as a tin of the new Grizzly H&N bullets. Below are pics of the size's of skirts, length and head size. I plan on grouping and running them through my Chronograph this weekend, so I will update the outcome.
All of these pellets look absolutely perfect in size shape and no smashed skirts or anything, they look so good I almost tasted one! Honestly I have never seen pellets that were this perfect!

JSB .35 - 81 Grains
   Skirt Average= .362
   Head Average= .356
Length Average= .430

H&N Grizzly .35 - 82 Grains-hollow base
   Head Average= .356
Length Average= .462

I cant wait either, I have not shot either pellet yet. Just maybe if i get off work in time before it gets dark I may try a few rounds of the Grizzly's tomorrow evening and post the results. Thinking of going straight to 60 yards. My barrel is fairly tight on the bore at .354 and .357 on the grooves and with them having a hollow base, just maybe they will do good. I should have enough air to in my tanks to get off a few 5 round shots starting at 3000 PSI.

I can say one thing, they are perfect in shape and no distortions on either of the pellets the JSB or the H&N. The measurements are just perfect form one pellet to the next!

I shot a few 5 shot groups today with the H&N Grizzly's and the JSB Exacts, .35 cal. with the Recluse.

That Stupid Trigger on this gun needs serious work on the pull weight. I jerked almost every shot. If the trigger was smoothed out and lightened it would do 1/2" groups I guarantee you on that. This 20 LB trigger pull is for the birds!
When you pull the trigger it feels like you left the freaking safety on. Also the 3x9 scope needs to be at least a 12 or 16 power. I have 2 6x24 56mm scopes on my .22 and.25 guns but I hate to take them off being that i have them sited in, but maybe tomorrow I will put one on the Sam Yang Recluse and see what happens.

I will go and fill my tanks tomorrow and chronograph these and do some more group testing. Below are some group Pics at 45 yards and 65 yards. I didn't shoot the H&N bullets at 65 yards due to they didn't group real tight at 45 yards.

Someone else got the Grizzly pellets and said they didn't group worth a darn.  I hope that others with .357 rifles get some and test them, too.  I would hate to see that they aren't worth their weight in gold.

I think they will do ok in my Recluse, its just that my trigger is junk, its so hard to pull I think the safety is on, every shot gets jerked off coarse a little. When i get a good trigger release the Grizzly does go where it is aimed, I may tear it apart if i have time tomorrow and see if I can lighten the trigger and smooth it out. The JSB's are fine, it won't take much to get them to shoot a good group. Also if the Grizzly's were just a little bigger, say .358 instead of .356 they would be great.

The Grizzly at 1.5" groups at 45 yards isn't that bad and I bet it can be tuned to shoot 1/2" groups with a little work!

Not sure who in the world ever decided to sell a gun as a 9mm/.357 cal. but that was stupid. A 9mm is a 9mm and .357 is a .357. 9mm is a lot smaller bore and these are not interchangeable calibers regardless of what anyone says! They are trying to sell you a .22 to shoot in a .25 which doesn't work. Companies trying to skimp on manufacturing costs in setup for making projectiles in really uncalled for in my opinion!

What I am saying is, it is either a 9mm or a .357 not both all in one. You buy 9mm bullets for a 9mm gun, not a .357 gun.

My trigger was hard to pull also. They're non adjustable so I just polished the contact points a little and it made a ton of difference.

I sanded the rough off all the trigger contact points with super fine sandpaper on my dremel as well as polished and lubed everything, what difference it made, its still a little hard but it is not gritty and sticking now. Before it was like pulling the trigger 3 times getting harder as you pulled. It has a smooth slightly heavy release now! So, I shot a couple groups of the H&N 82 grain bullets and the JSB's 81.02 pellets at 65 yards (actually I think its 63 Yrds). Below is the group shot pics both group around the 1.5" mark +/- a little either way.
    I still need to put my better scope on and I think if I had that trigger a little less heavy I could do a lot better, but I am happy so far!
OH I almost forgot I changed the spring to a lighter one.
Also the H&N all shoot one mil dot to the right, so I held on POI with the one mil over, the JSB's are still just about dead on!

Thanks for the great write up/report. Glad to hear they are not as bad out of your rifle as they seem to be out of others. I just recently got 3 tins from PA and have only been able to shoot at close range in my basement so far. Consistent pellet size is great to see and 65 yard groups slightly over the JSB's is also promising. Hope your trigger smooths out and being more predictable gives even better groups.
