  No personal experience but from what I understand even though you don't to fill from a tank the rifle does come equipped with the option to fill from a tank . It is a neat idea since it is a multi shot  capable PCP/ Pumper

Not to thread hack- but wait to see what Carson's version of Bob's Millennium Pumper can do- It sounds like it will be a much cheaper version of an Indy!

Yea, all of us ask about that gun when we first get here.

Me included.

From what I understand, again no experience here, but a lot of reading, asking and wishing.

It can be filled by tank, but internally it has a small air chamber.
So a very low shot count, when not pumping..

And it looks nice..

I was thinking about buying the FX Indy, the negative info was about weight. The Bobcat is almost 2 pounds lighter but you need an external air supply. The only other advice I can give you is if your buying new research the seller.

An Indy of the .25 persuasion is on my short list. I'd be interested to hear from experienced Indy owners also.

Fx is nice, but I think they are over priced here in the USA.
And the one importer can set his price at the inflated profit margin he wants, and if you want the gun, you will have to pay his price...

Agreed!!!  I really wish FX would branch out a bit... maybe bring the prices down.  Of course, that wouldn't sit well with FX or the current importer.

Why is that a problem, Uberti does it, one line sold through taylor and co.
Another line sold through Benelli/stoger.

I've been intrigued by the FX Indy/Independence, also. Virtually all FX's products are top notch. The only problem I see with the self pump PCP rifles is the Moisture Trap (or lack there of). I heard if you live in a humid climate that moisture problems develop. A MT would add weight to already 'King Tiger Tank' of a rifle. Imagine having to disassemble your rifle to even check for moisture!! Fix those issues and I think they'd have a winner..

I live in Westchester NY and I have a Mrod and Prod and both have had a lot of moisture damage. I've since got dryers. Something to think about. if u live in a dessert I don't see a problem.

I hear that that there are problems with the barrel.  Most of the bore is smooth and there is insufficient rifling to impart enough spin to the pellet. This can cause problems with group size and changes in POI.

From everything I have seen the issues are with shooting bullets not pellets
