That's a real nice looking Rifle. I like the Thumbhole stock... would love to have one in .22 cal... maybe some day.

Was getting ready to send an e mail to Weirhauch letting them know how impressed with the 97 I was. Did the same thing last month for the 98 and got a response from Hans W. himself. Got home tonight and had a package from Germany with a note from Hans.....yes we're on a first name basis!!!

Got to spend some quality time with the new lady yesterday. Shooting ok, but not as accurate as I thought. Figured she's brand new and has to settle down.....NOT!!
This brain surgeon WOP was so excited Wednesday to shoot it that I did not tighten scope mount to rail sufficiently. Ugh.
Tightened it up and guess what?

Ummmmmm she can flat out shoot!!
I've tried 5 different pellets and she likes them all!!
What a sweet shooting lady!!!
This was 10 shots at 50 yards. Bull is some sized. This is with about 300 down the tube.
When your scope doesn't move......the gun will shoot better. Thought I would give you guys this one accuracy secret! You don't have to thank me!!! Ugh

Good analogy Scott!!! DOH!!! What a dope!!!
I have about 300 thru her now and she is just getting smoother Scott!! Hardly any buzz now at all!! Very easy to keep sight pic thru firing cycle. If I didn't pull that shot high that would've been a GREAT 50 yard group!! She seems to really like the 7.87 JSB......fav of the 98.....but she shoots all I've tried great!!

Good looking outfit, Joe. Glad this one is performing for you without any breakdowns. I like the TH stock. My '97 is a great shooter, although with the regular stock. Mine likes JSB's also. Happy shooting!

I put a real sweet Sidewinder 6-24x56 that I got for an awesome price!! My starling assassin friend Chris steered me to an awesome dealer!!! Used BKL single strap silver mounts. What a nice set up Don......IF you tighten the durn mounts up!!! Ugh
