Nice long brown box containing a thing of beauty!!! Just holding this one brings that silly grin to my face!!
Beech thumbhole SS look 97 in 177!! Oh my!!
Scott hooked her up beautifully for me....as usual!!
What a sweet shooter!! Only put about 100 down the tube, but she feels awesome and shoots straight!!
First group at 30 second at 50 yards. Think I'll keep her for a while!!

really sweet gun I'll be more than willing to drive down to your place and bring it home for a long term test and evaluation. Joe,
Having handled BOTH the 56TH and 97K which both have the thumb hole stock and very similar design .... IMO no contest as to which is the finer rifle. ( Yup you readers can fill in the blank as to which that is

I know most say the HW is finished better and we all like the Rekord, but come on....how do they shoot? I'd think it would be the sledge as it limits the recoil factor. Joe?? Any thoughts? Just seems hard as it also depends, highly, on feeding the barrel with a correct pellet, so.....

?

Or is it about the other 56 that had the failure?

I know it's gotta be a tough question to answer, but out of all your plinkers (including your newest acquisition), which are your favorites based on personal preference? They all shoot good... you've proven that.

Just curious which ones you find yourself enjoying more.

Impossible to answer. The TX is as close to a perfect gun as I've seen and shot. We have a lot of my son's and nephew's friends who've never shot anything come over. Within a couple of minutes they are hitting everything with the TX. The 56 is almost the same.....almost.
The 56 at long range is absolutely awesome.
The 98 I feel is the most accurate and my favorite. I find myself shooting this one the most. I just shot a target for the bench rest competition in the Target Gate that literally blew my mind!! Little tougher to shoot for beginners than the TX.
Just sent bout 100 down the tube of the 97, but what a quality rifle this is!! Couldn't believe how well she grouped brand new......with a bit of Motörhead Magic!! Just an absolutely beautiful rifle! When my nephew and I un boxed it we were blown away. Little tougher to cock than the TX, but a dream to shoot. Awesome stock!!

Very Nice Joe! I went with the blued TH stock one myself. That SS finish ties the Butt plate in real nice.
