It has been a while since any new stuff has come along. Recently someone posted ETA. So Estimated Time of Arrival has been added. As always, additions will happen "whenever"!

How about PITA, simply because I don't want to write out Pain-In-The-(you know what)? This is an acronym I have seen many times on many other forums. Or is this something you want to censor?

Mike, at the bottom of the original post [where all the terms are found] there is this statement: I see these acronyms used, but I will not put the definitions because it violates what we are about. And I encourage you to refrain from using them too as they are in poor taste. JMO
I still feel that way. But thank you for your suggestion.

Yes I read that, but since PITA was not one of those listed at the end, I didn't know if this qualified. It can be pain in the anatomy.

Here's another: TJ. It's apparently a barrel manufacturer; but they're talking about it in another topic, and since no one tells what it stands for, I can't look up the manufacturer's website. I wish everyone would use the full name in their first reference, to let newbies know what they're talking about.

So apparently the whole name of the company is "TJ's Enterprises," and they don't have a website. There is a "T & J Enterprises, Inc" well-drilling company with a website, but that's different.
