i used to shoot flies often but eventually found they weren't worth the cost of the pellet,,,hardly any meat at all on 'em.

Skinning those things is the real tricky part too. But once you skin 'em, there ain't much to 'em! 

I know first hand about the 'Black Flies' in Maine. That is their state bird.

Yeah Right- I just got 2 boxes of strike anywhere matches and the only way to light them, is with a Bick lighter. Talk about stacking the bet?

I may be showing age, but I remember all you use to need was a match and blue jeans. What happened to good matches? I hate BIC lighters, that is why I still use a Zippo.
