I did not understand your sentence about AA TX series? Did you mean you thought they were way south of $500? If so, you may want to look again unless you are buying from a crusty old guy in a van down by the river next to the airgun shop that just got kncoked off.Way south of $500 in a underlever..............Hatsans come to mind but none will have the quality a AA; Weihrauch; or Diana have.Good luck.
