I like the power adjuster in blued steel from Charles Mellon Airgun Parts. It has plenty of adjustment with a large diameter spring guide screw and looks like it belongs on a 2240 to me. You can use a longer power spring if you want which can be swapped without disassembly out the back if you want to experiment with different springs.
Ordered these from Fenton Shooting Supplies in the UK for my 22xx stainless and brass build.

Thanks for all the info!I decided to go with the MellonAir - I like the low-profile adjustment screw (and price!). Any issues with it backing out after shooting?

I'm looking for a power adjuster for my 2240 and was wondering what models are compatible. I see one advertised for the Challenger but it says it will also fit the Benji Disco. Will this also fit the 2240?Thanks!

I see one advertised for the Challenger but it says it will also fit the Benji Disco. Will this also fit the 2240?Thanks!About 10 or 11 years ago, I purchased a “Power Adjuster” for my modded 2240, through the Crosman parts department. Crosman calls it a Pressure Adjustment Assembly (part # 2300-124) and it was priced ~$14.00. Don’t know if it’s still available and if so, probably not at that price 🙄. Those that have installed “Power Adjusters” know and those looking to purchase one should know that they don’t really increase power. They function to reduce the dwell time of the exhaust valve allowing less gas (air or CO2) to escape the valve with the hammer strike. They improve efficiency at the expense of energy at the muzzle. That said, IMHO they are best suited for getting more shots out of a CO2 cartridge or a PCP pellet gun.
