 Notos has more adjustability to fit the shooter great rifle, the Pinty Bill mentioned is also a fine rifle and lop is in the range for smaller shooters, very accurate traditional rifle.

Cheap enough to not bother me reducing its LOP and grip area to accommodate a child’s appendages 👍

I don’t have a Notos either, so I’m not certain if the grip is too thick for a 10-year old’s paw.

I was gonna suggest it but it’s $900, the Junior version on AoA.

The OP can surely afford it though, judging from his choice of air weapons.

While that BSA Ultra is compact, the specs shows it would be a poorer choice than the Notos, for a 10yo: It's about 1.5lb heavier, no lop adjustment, and the trigger reach looks to be twice that of the Notos pistol grip design. All that for more than 3x the cost?

Ouch, they were around 400 pounds in UK when SE model was still made. The new CLX version of Ultra has better shot count. Brocock also makes small and light carbines and then there's HW100 carbine version if you want to steer away from china quality. FX also makes compact guns but IMO they are over engineered and you hear a lot of horror stories about leaks and POI shifts.

I've never shot a Notos but it's power is a little more than my retuned Prod.  My Prod has killed 18 or 19 squirrels for me.  The original tune was only 13-14 fpe and I lost a couple.  No problems at it's current 18-19 fpe.  I think the Notos is higher at low 20s and I think it will work great with reasonably placement.  The only knock I've seen on the Notos is the trigger pull.  I do not know it isn't great, I am just saying I have seen others say so.

The Prod has gotten pretty pricey but it is also small and light and has a really good trigger.  With a decent tune it would work well.  The shoulder stock is inexpensive so modifying it wouldn't be a big deal to me. 

I really enjoy my P35s.  They only weigh about 5 lbs and provide more power and shot count versus a Prod or Notos.  I have not looked recently but I got mine from Krale and I've seen them there since.  The P35X is a heavier more powerful gun.  My P35-177 is tuned to about 19 fpe and gives me about 75 shots on a 250 bar fill.  My P35-22 gives me 40 32 fpe shots on a fill.  My P35-25 gives me close to 40 50 fpe shots on a fill.  I wouldn't mind more shots at a little lower fpe from the 22 but it really likes 21 grain H&N pellets.  The 25 likes JSB 34 grain but the 177 and 22 prefer H&N.  But both shoot JSBs pretty well.

The P35-177 has killed 24 squirrels for me with one lost due to poor shot placement by me (I shot it in the rear end).  The P35-22 has taken 10, all DRT.  The P35-25 has taken 18 when it was tuned to 32 fpe.  I recovered them all but two ran a little.  I also get runners (for a short distance) with the 177 with lung shots sometimes.  The runners with the 25 were both shot right in the front of the chest and the pellet was recovered under the skin in the rear of the squirrel.  I probably only got one lung. 

P35s have a plastic stock but it is hollow.  It could probably be shortened.  I make wood stocks for mine which isn't hard if you have the tools.

I have to admit, that's a cute little scope that looks perfect on the little Notos.

I use a monstrum 6x prism scope on my notos, it works great imo.

Yes, just mounted it behind the mag well

Looking at the mounts, I'm fairly confident, I used something I already had, and it is a high mount.
