Smaller-sized PCPs

My 10yo (daughter!) announced she wants to become a squirrel hunter.

I'm kind of tickled pink.

My FX Crown, Wildcat, and Impact M3 are all much too big/heavy for her (she is small for her size in addition to being 10).

What should I look at? Budget is... flexible. (The rifle has to be accurate enough to keep pellets in 1" at, say, 30Y, at worst...)

Like Dinh said above.....NOTOS! It has an adjustable butt stock for LOP and it's light and accurate to about 30-40yds.

I'd love to be able to use the stock of JSB pellets I already have. In .22 that starts at 18.13 gr. I wonder what velocity it would throw those at.

My pic above is with with the JSB 18g pellets. The CPHP grouped significantly better, and at $7 for a tin of 500 at Walmart, it's a bargain ammo.

I shoot JSB 18gr from mine and it slings them @ 700fps out of the box, get almost 30 shots with these.

Help me out here. Some guy posted about the Notos somewhere saying: “However, its downfall is power. I've literally watched pellets bounce off squirrels when the shots were beyond about 35 yards.” He didn’t say what pellet weight he uses, etc.
So, do you guys soup yours up and his was OOTB? Or what is going on? Squirrels at 40 yards or more seems like a normal desire.

Do the ballistics. 700 FPS in .22 is really a ~30-35Y squirrel gun - for reasons of both power & trajectory.

(Sure, headshots past that range would be fatal, if connected, but not really chest shots.)

(OTOH, "bouncing off" seems ridiculous.)

Did the "guy" mentioned anything about the fps from the Notos he was using?
The regulator is adjustable. Which I did on mine to up the power.
I prefer to shoot nutters under 25yd with my Notos, and much closer if going for a chest shot. I have hotter guns for pass 25yd, that I know can easily penetrate nutter chest, just incase I have an off shot.

Don't over think it Paul, mine shoots the JTS 18.1 accurate at 35 - 40 yds.
Thought I had it on TriggerTreat's spreadsheet but I don't see it on the laptop.

If you want a flatter trajectory then the JSB 15.89gr would be better suited for 30-40yds in which the FPS will be around 780-ish, less loopy than the 18gr @ longer distances. Most of my shots are 20yds and under with the Notos so the 18gr work for me and a plus is a couple extra shots due to being heavier, stays in the barrel a smidge longer and back pressure on the valve closing it a smidge sooner.

Yeah, I don't have any of those on-hand as my higher-powered FX guns have always shot heavier pellets better. (I am shooting 25.4gr .22s at around 940 FPS in the Impact now.)

IIRC tho the higher BC of the heavier pellets makes the trajectory advantage of the 15s not that large also.

But I haven't run any numbers at these velocities yet. And, yes, no need to overthink this - my little girl just needs to be able to shoot 10-35Y.

I think she will like the Notos! My wife is petite and enjoys shooting our Notos. I have also shot the JSB 14gr and 13gr thru mine all with wonderful accuracy.

The Notos one Achilles heel is the stock magazine. Many owners have issues with the indexing. Some sort of alignment issue which makes it from difficult to unable to load pellets. However, there are plenty of 3d printed magazines on ebay that works flawlessly.
