Ever shot an avocado pit?

Back in the late 90s a 22 Hornet and Pear trees was my thing. Those that had the rock hard sand pears we called them.
For pellet rifle, I remember shooting Sycamore tree balls, they would go poof, lay on my back in the yard with my Benjamin 177..

I've shot everything from BBs to magnum handguns and rifles. Never shot an avocado pit. Do they kick much? Are they accurate?

They might kick hard if a whole avocado was stuck into an automotive tailpipe. Or trash an engine.

Walnuts are way more fun to shoot.

I concur. They are almost like shooting a reactive target.

Am lucky that there are quite a few black walnut trees on my property. So I am well acquainted with what nice, squirrel head size targets they make. On the ground or on the tree. A satisfying thwack… I particularly like shooting at the husks without the outer laters. They offer up a satisfying crack sound at impact.🤓

Paintballs, the very old ones stored away in your garage, make for great reactive targets. Plenty of rain will also wash the debris away.

You can also hang a sheet of paper above and behind the paintball and sell it as modern art. Make this hobby/sport pay.
