This post from the gentleman considering making magazines for the Pinty Bullpup:

Great! If I can get 20 mags pre-sold, I will move forward with production. It will be $26 for the first mag and $23 for the rest in the same order with US shipping included. ETA would be 6 weeks or less.

He has pre-order commitments for 10 mags already so we are getting closer. If interested please let me know so I can update his count.

how are yall's bullpup's shooting ?
mine is throwing lite weight stuff up to 20gr like a scattergun !!
but calms down when using jsb redesign 25.39 and jumbo beast 33.95. but the redesign is better.
seems the barrel spec might not like the hot lite weight stuff, i will see.
chrony 14.3 cpd's @ 925fps
will check fps with the 33.95 soon, im out of the redesign's for now.......

so far no leaks, trigger needs help, optic rail is the same as earlier guns.
i had a set of UTG premiums that worked very well, no need to replace rail.
i'm going to try and turn the power down some this weekend if i get a chance
after doing field prep for planting.

After 3 long weeks, I finally got my bullpup. Looks just as nice, in person!
First order of business was to check on the scope rail. First scope mount I grabbed from the drawer fits just fine. I decided to borrow the UTG Bugout from the P-rod. The UTG also fits fine on the scope rail.
With the temporary scope mounted, I moved on to barrel cleaning. Used 50lb monofilament to pull clp soaked patches through. About 6 patches and it appears to be acceptably clean.
Didn't fully fill up the gun. Just to 225 bars for today. Loaded up mag with Hades and set up a large piece of cardboard out to about 35ft. First shot hit about 18" low. About 12" below the bullseye was all that the Bugout could manage. I'll have to look into adjustable height scope rings to compensate for the scope sitting so high above the barrel. However, once I just the correct mildot, the gun proves very accurate. Despite the heavy trigger. Also, hard hitting. Will need to checkout the fps.
Need to get the scope and rings figured out, then onto pellet testing. Overall, I am very pleased with the gun.

John, like you, my Pup likes the heavier pellets the best, but in my case, the Apolo 18 gn pellets shoot very well and the 21 gn Baracuda pellets shoot lights out. My trigger is pretty good now that I corrected the safety drag. You might want to check to see if the safety is dragging on the safety nub even when it is fully pushed off safe. I had to file that little nub down a bit and all is good with trigger now. Mine was shootig at about the same speed you mention with 14.3 cpds and they were not accurate. There is a hammer spring adjuster you can check to see where it is set. Mine was about even with the rear and I have left it there.

John, I saw your PM about the custom mag the gentleman on the other forum is considering making. He needs a minimum committment of 15 total mags from various users to fund the development (he will purchase a rifle to test with). With yours added we are up to 11 mags ( that I know of) so not quite there yet. Will let you know if we reach the 15 threshold and he is ready to move forward with the project.

My safety button will seat past the trigger if I make sure to fully push it through. So, no need for any grinding.
I went through my drawer of scope mounts, and found 3 sets that fits onto the P-pup's weaver rail. Unfortunately, they're not tall enough enough. I scoured thru Amazon and found that Monstrum has a few rings that they indicate will both weaver and picatinny. They also indicate when a mount is for picatinny only. I have a 30mm high set on the way.

Regardless, the seller, Monstrum, actually will indicate whether or not their mounts will work with a weaver rail or not, which takes the guess work out of it. Just trying to help other members life a little easier, not argue about actual specs.

Just an FYI, these are the rings I use on my Pinty Bullpup... my scope is 30mm.

Unfortunately Rich, my Sig Romeo 5 Red Dot Picatinny mounts will not fit the Pinty Bullpup rail, but does fit on other rifles I have owned. This has nothing to do with the width of the rail, but has to do with the width and depth of the slots.

Hi Bill, he has been selling .177/.22 custom mags for the P35 for some time so he probably does, but I will have to get with him for that information.

I'm going to give up after this because it's apparent what I am saying it not getting thru. PIC and WEAVER rails are, by spec supposed to be 21.2mm wide (give or take .2mm)
TRUE weaver or pic rings are only required to tighten down to fit on this spec. A lot of the higher cost ones only do this so that there is little chance of the rings being off-centered. If you by chance get a set of rings that tightens down to 19mm (the actually approx width of the pinty rail) then you will be fine, your rings will just be slightly off center, but they will tighten. So what I am saying it that it doesn't matter whether or not you order pic or weaver rings, what matters is that the rings you happen to get, tighten past the width of the rail.

Edit to add - I'm not arguing about anything, just pointing out facts.
