What kind of shot count/velocities are you getting?Last 48 shots (4 mags) shot string (2 days ago) with Norma domed 9.1 grains:-start at 3500 PSI and 850 FPS-peak around 885 FPS-end around 2300 PSI and 850 FPSI could also get 72 shots (6 magazines) at lower 800s FPS with a 40-45 FPS spread.Once you install the o'ring buffer (BStaley mod) it's much easier to get efficient tunes. The airgun also becomes much more QUIET.

I got the pyramyd air sale catalog this weekend, these rifles caught my eye. A 25 might be cool to have, my 362-25 pounds targets and these run 100+ fps faster.

Very helpful! I have at least three O-ring selections. Do you recommend butyl or nitrile?
I got out some graph paper and shot a graph of the POI at twenty yards. Three sheets of graph paper made 33 data points. Starting from a 2700 PSI fill I shot 33 25.39gr JSB Kings, one at each point in turn. POA was six o’clock on each black square. The gun was zeroed for 35 yards. I was only shooting from a bucket and sticks so I figure a margin of error of +or- 5%. Figure the vertical error is about equal to the horizontal error and it is pretty evident. Ending pressure was approximately 1300 PSI. The results were surprising and actually kind of encouraging. See below.

This corresponds to a <3/4" group at the expected 35 yard POI. I can hunt with that. Furthermore 28 out of thirty shots fall within a 1" group at 20 yards. The total vertical error between all shots is less than 1.25". If you correct for my less than perfect marksmanship the capabilities of this gun are impressive especially at this price.

A 25 might be cool to have, my 362-25 pounds targets and these run 100+ fps faster. The C3622 was my first PCP and It left me a little ambivalent toward them. The price of the Beeman hooked me. I already had the pump I bought for the Crosman so it was an impulse buy. This may not be the greatest PCP out there but it changed my mind about them. I’d get another one of these in .22 but the memsahib would Nail my hide to the shed!
Today two things arrived. One is the Beeman Raider .25, yay! The other was a storm, 😂. So I shot a few rounds OOTB and that thing is loud. Have not adjusted the hammer spring yet. The “iron” sights are nicer than the 3622, but do not work for these eyes. Mounted the BugBuster 3-12x32 mil-dot and nailed a dead tree through the rain and wind gusts at 80 yards using the single shot tray. The mag does not fit under this scope with medium rings. I have a cheap CVlife scope that is longer and will probably work, or might buy taller rings for the UTG. For now I plan to just use the single shot tray until the Raider is dialed in (as much as I can). The BStaley mod might be more than I will take on, so hammer spring adjustment to begin. Really liking my introduction to this AG. Anyone have experience with a moderator? .25 or go up to a .30 caliber moderator?
JimT66, The hammer adjustment screw is located at the rear of the airtube. Included is the Allen wrench used to adjust the hammer spring tension. I need to refill the Raider and try back out the screw another full turn. I'm sure that's add another 3-5 shots to stay within 30 FPS. I'm thinking of using Heavier pellets, heavier pellets should also bring down the FPS spread. NVak
NorCal David, Welcome to the Raider Platoon. I have two of Buck-Rail 1/2x20 UNF Moderator/ LDC in both tapered and non tapered. I have only tried the narrower tapered LDC and it works very good and makes the shot report quieter than the target being hit. With a LDC on It does make the Raider longer around 42, 3/4".NVak
