Stefan, did you remove four screws? The barrel is held by two screws, but each one has a screw on top of it, so there are four screws to be removed. That bolt looks to be brass-coated, if there is such a thing. The one I used was still brass-colored after I wiped it clean. Gophersniper, thanks for that info. Bob (rsterne here) mentioned adjusting the trigger as well. Mine is pretty light. I know I've run into issues where it was so light it would not cock consistently, and only by increasing the pull weight did it begin to cock smoothly again. Maybe I need to put some serious weight on it because mine shot wide groups as you describe. I just have to wait until the mule train (post office) brings my parts so I can get back to work on it. darryl
This will sound kind of strange, but I have had a Pneuma Elite 10 for a few months now and it has been a great shooter. I don't measure groups, but I shoot paper right at 40 yards and a dime always covers a 5 shot group. I played around with the trigger settings one day, pull weight ect and the gun would not group at all! I am talking about 3-4 inches apart per shot, and it was not me. I adjusted the trigger to stock settings and now it is shooting great again. I just don't get it.
