Thanks for sharing but I am a little confused. My stock and only lightly tuned Notos gets 21(3 mags) shots regulate(22nd @777 to be exact) before coming off the regulator verified by chronograph. I am getting: CPHP 14.3gr @ 779FPS-Avg, ES-5fps and SD-1FPS from a full fill for 21 shots. *Very pleased with these results.* Fill pressure to "red" on manometer or 3700-3800PSI roughly and I have turned in the hammer spring adjustment to almost full in, minus ~1/8-1/4. You are at <700FPS and not getting 3 magazines. Your first post indicated 3500PSI fill pressure. Should I be filling to a lower pressure(~3500PSI) or is there something else I am missing? I am a long time shooter but new to PCP, just trying to understand and enjoy the PCP world. TIA and take care

I am not one to tell you what to do with your gun but the recommended max fill pressure is 3625 and I fill to something under maximum with new guns. Once broken in I may bump that number up a bit but I still try not  to exceed max recommended fill.
I don't have alot of experience with regulated guns so I'm not sure what stresses a regulator can handle due to overfilling. I also consider that I'm using a Yong Heng compressor to fill the gun and the lower fill pressure might help it last longer.
Not all like guns give the exact same results. There are tolerance ranges in all machining that can affect results, especially in production runs.
Something else is worth a mention...
I asked about the silver slotted "exhaust screw" (part #66 on the parts diagram) located under the front of the  trigger frame and another member reported that he had no such screw. So I would ask, are we seeing a second variant to these guns? If so, are there any other differences?
The same could be said for chronographs and pressure gauges.

 Differences in the molded mono block can affect hammer travel and speed, where the hole the hammer passes through has slight variations in size.

My neighbor's bone stock Notos is shooting an average of 770 FPS, my bone stock Notos is shooting around 705 FPS. neither hammer spring or regulator has been adjusted or changed since they were received.  The Chinese aren't really known for manufacturing consistency!

So, you removed the bottle reg and screwed the bottle directly to the drop block?

On that setup the reg was at a 3000 psi setting same as the bottle rating. so it was like shooting unregulated.

OK, here are some unexpected but welcome results....

As I said above, with this setup I was hoping for 3 full mags in the 600 fps range per fill.
I got 3 full mags at 700+ with the 14.3 mags. The spread was 34 because shot 21 was off the reg. If not for that shot the spread would have been reduced by half.
I can make that up by filling to red line but I'm still short filling to around 3500.
If I can get one more 7 shot mag by just adding the plenum I'll leave it right where it is. If not I need to decide if I'm going to make another reg adjustment or change/clip hammer spring. In my mind, it should be so close that I shouldn't need to adjust the reg. Remember, I still have the HS screw backed off to flush.

LMBO... I never even looked up the meanings. Yeah, it'll get a name change.   

I think just NoDoze is adequate.

Well I don't have a cool name like UmmaGumma NoDoze but my Silenced tati-cool SBR shoots 14.3s about 750fps with an ES of 4 and 18s around 695fps. I backed my hammer all the way out to flush and then in 1.5 turns.  I get 21 shots, but during the fun mach observed that I can go 2-12round CARMS without a change in POI.  If I ever get the reg adjusted to 20+fpe I'm sure I'll fall to 18 shots on the reg.  I autofill to 3500psi on the GX and Notos Gauge (actually match).
The AG is more accurate than I am so I'm sure you'll enjoy shooting!  I'm currently shooting JSB 15.9s but hard to tell a difference from 14.3s groups...I like to tell myself I have a little more energy with out the drop of 18s......

I slipped out and shot 3 mags of CPHP into a 10m target. Took a couple shots to sight in from 25yds that I was shooting in to the 10m. After sighted in I was very pleased with the rest of the targets.
I think tomorrow I'll post a submission to the 10m Casual Match with it. I might even submit one for the 50' as well.
I think I'm also going to pull samples of every .22 pellet I have on hand and see how picky it may be. I'll do that with the SST so I don't have to fiddle with mags.
The weather tomorrow looks to be very shooter friendly.

Been thinking about the 50' offhand matches for a while. My indoor range is 50' and I could stand to practice offhand at 50' more regularly with targets rather than plinking.

I realized that I hadn't posted a string on the JTS 18.1 since I made that last reg adjustment so while Betty Lou was making breakfast I went out and ran it.

If you know your size Grainger is also a source.  If you know or can convert to metric there are a couple of direct from China sellers that are cheap with free shipping (from China?) and sell pretty small quantities....
