You know anybody with a 3D printer? I found a free STL file available.https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/daisy-avanti-753-853-953-air-rifle-adjustable-extended-butt-stockWe have a Gate for that here on GTA but I don't participate. Maybe one of our fine members could help you out."Insanity" is the Mod over that and would be a good one to ask.
If you want to test the waters on the cheap the Bara 1966 jr. is accurate and fun, I bought one as a gift a few years ago and enjoyed testing it with the recipient.https://www.walmart.com/ip/Barra-Airguns-1866-Junior-0-177-Caliber-Youth-Pump-Action-BB-or-Pellet-Air-Gun/299035852
That looks like a lot of fun for sure.Ron

Quote from: 19Sheridan57 on December 05, 2023, 06:33:32 PM I will be brief & to the point. You have been recommended numerous “ cheap “ air rifles that will work for your purpose . You were recommended one air rifle, the 853, that is also cheap , but it was NOT built cheaply. Thank you, 19Sheridan57 for your contribution. It makes a great point.I'm really leaning in that direction because it is a truly 'match grade' rifle.I wrote this guy mentioned on the form, Tommy Whitten, yesterday and still have not heard back from him. I am very reluctant to fill out the order form with my private information and CC numbers to some one who won't reply to an email. There is also a phone number and I'll call that tomorrow and see if I can order one.I really like everything I've heard about the gun and I too think it would suit my needs the closest.Ron

Definitely not a one off. Imagine how good it's going to get after you're familiar with it and find its favorite pellet. There's lots of information around on improving the trigger too.

I have one of those green mechanical trigger testers and I'll give it a go soon.Ron

If you're happy, then that's what's important. Some of us can't resist tinkering.
