.When I load a pellet into the breech some seem to get hung up a tiny bitright as it tries to go into the bore. It appears to be mostly on the right side of the entranceto the bore and I am wondering if it is deforming the pellets a little when it does that.I wonder if anyone else with a 853 has the same problem, like it's just how they are. At any rate I'll get in on the next one.Ron

That’s what I like about it, high quality barrel, then just what’s needed to make use of that barrel.I don’t know if you’re into tinkering, or just shooting, but it’s pretty easy to give it a nice two stage trigger if you’re interested. Also, I’ve seen just like the manual says, cleaning the barrel often keeps the accuracy up.
Great shooting John, Eric.Y'all are experts. Ron
Thanks, Ron. The FWB 300S came standard with a very nice rear peep and a front tunnel with interchangeable inserts. This is a 49 year old gun and even after all that time the sights are still very, very good. They’re an absolute joy to shoot. Worth putting in your arsenal if you ever have a chance.

I could almost make out the white dot center. Bare bones shootin', gotta respect that.Ron
