You can adjust the T06 to your liking.  Read the manual and start turning screws.  It’s a great trigger.

My experience with Vortek springs is when the die they die hard.  All the sudden you loose velocity.  Springs are cheap and you can swap one out in a 34 in minutes so no big deal.

I found a pdf copy of the manual, it said one screw can be adjusted and leave the other two alone.

There's only one YouTube vid, which had some praises and some comments that adjustment attempts caused damages. I watched it and thought it was too haphazard to be useful as-is.

I could write a long justification for my comments but I'm just going to say it seems like there's no procedure that will get a T06 working if your attempts to improve it go sideways.

For me, I might get away with a tweak of the rear screw to increase pull weight. I'd prefer a shorter 1st stage and slightly longer 2nd stage, but not sure I want to risk making it worse.

And, while springs may be cheap, the original issue is the stumbling block.

As if I didn't have enough to consider. I know, don't diss Umarex, just the facts...

Maybe it will "chip" off if I cut/pry from the inside circumference of the front sight where it meets the barrel.
