Betty Lou was chased by several cows as a small girl and it scarred her for life. She has a terrible fear of cows.

The memsahib was raised on a ranch in Texas.  She loves cows.  However,  she was chased by chickens as a small girl and it scarred her for life.

Go figure.

My wife was locked in a chicken coup as a young girl and is terrified of all birds now

Wow... glad I wasn't locked in the girls bathroom when I was young.   

Bill, it's repressed, but I'm certain you were locked in a cilantro greenhouse

Never even heard of cilantro until 20 or so years ago. I think the first time I had it was at a Chipoltle's. I've not been back to one since. I think they put that nasty stuff in everything on the menu.

I add cilantro to my fave Viet Pho dish: rice noodles with bean sprouts, chopped pork chops, and shrimps, hmmmm..

It’s what I order every week since I came to Abq. in 2019

James , hello , I got my 61st groundhog w/ air today . Got it at 30yrds w/ my Katran .22 pushing out the FX Atomic . The shot was right behind the ear as it looked quartering away to the left . It just slumped back down in the hole . I was able to retrieve it for a cell phone pic then took it out to the field & "prepped "it for the cleanup crew . Popped a half dozen hosps afterwards before heading into the feed room in the barn for a go at the vermin. I saw several running before settling in on one . Just as I got into the Kral NP-O3 's trigger it turned & I missed ! This sent them all high tailing it back into the stone wall . The cows started filing in for the evening feeding so I packed it in.

I saw nothing to shoot at in the woods but did find a tasty treat, took a couple chunks back to the shop and microwaved in a paper towel for a minute an d a half, came out perfect

I love sulfer shell! I hope i find some grouse hunting this fall!

Toiled away yesterday till about 1630 and went to have a sitdown in the sun  Angus came up asking so got the BSA Spitfire and some pellets. Off to the cattle yards and got two rabbits down there  we wandered off around the loop and saw a rabit high up on a steep bank. Bowled that one and it tumbled down onto the flat. Still twitching a bit and Angus scrambled through the fence and raced up. I thought he would finish off but he only licked it and not even the blood. Took the kills home and skinned them on the lawn. Angus didnt even hang round for a tit bit.. he knows food comes from the fridge
Useless hunting dog. Don't know why i feed him but he is my best mate.

 Been too busy as of late, but while grooming the hayride trail I could not help but notice the resurgence of the chipmunk population, really need to go on safari again soon.

 BTW still eating Chicken of the Woods

Apparently 4am is the new 5am. At least according to Rambo....
Another restless night so I came out and sat in my recliner and put a football game on the TV that I had no interest  in the hopes that it would bore me to sleep. My plan was just beginning to work and I just dozed off when he started with his stomping and whining. I thought he had to go out.. really bad. Nope, he wanted food.
He really don't know how close he came to becoming "The Dead Pest of the Day".

Thanks ! I did a hurried safari yesterday and forgot that 10 yd holdover and scared the bejesus out of one as the shot hit the rotten log he was on, as woodchips exploded underneath him.

I did the same thing to a nutter that was digging around my backyard lawn. I need to get all my under 25y ranges figured out better with the Notos.

 Took my 110th G-hog ( combined weaponry ) on Friday late afternoon at a new pigeon / pest barn .  This was the 62nd airgun kill . I was able to connect on a half dozen birds before heading home . I have only two shooting directions at this spot and the sun will dictate where.  This might be another rat barn also . I'll need to do some after dark recon .
