Dear GTA members,
I see folks are following this thread and hope Mr.Wolf is receiving just the amount of "retirement work" that he was looking for. Recently he rescued my AEA30Challenger from a fractured sear. The responsible thing to do is post my experience on this thread.

I installed the sear and chronoed 2 magazines before the airgun degassed it-self. Hope the Huma regulator o-ring has folded itself again. The operation of the trigger assembly is flawless. Thank you again for the repair and speed and quality of your work.

Sorry guys, I have been getting many requests for tubes and tube extensions, Due to liability concerns I will NOT do those.

I cannot in good conscience Send out something that is a potential bomb, I understand we all have PCP guns and are safe when used correctly , But folks a lot smarter than me engineered those, and have plenty of money to back them up IF something goes wrong.

I did spend a lifetime filling my toybox to let some dead guys family take it all.

Update:
There are now over 200 rounds through the Challenger with the repaired sear. I did take advice and have received a factory AEA sear from FoxPro but for now the repaired sear is in the AG. Again thanks!

22&25 caliber gen 2 Marauder/Armada breeches would sell like hot cakes. Would you cut a factory tube down and re-thread or shrouds for that matter?

Lots of goodies would sell like hotcakes.. if the prices are right.
Stuff like this is hard to price reasonable and factor in the r&d, materials and setup... unless pricing is based on volume of future sales. There in lies the risk.

Absolutely. It would be rather difficult to choose which rifle to actually r&d and invest in making said modded parts. And price? I personally think $300 is too much for a side lever that I have to mod something to make it work. However $200 for one I can bolt on and go...all day long.

All very good points.

To have a home shop Machinist who can do it all, Including the Hard anodizing would be hard to find who is not already busy.

And unless You actually have the airgun the customer wants modified, or similar, there will be a lot of back and forth shipping till you got it right.

It's the R&D that kills most jobs.

If you fabricate a Hammer spring cover/endplate with the pre-drilled and tapped hole you could sell it as a kit: Challenger Standard to (better than) FX poor man's conversion kit. I followed that thread but am not as good a machinist as James and shied away from drilling into my endplate...

Good sir, you fixed my AEA Challenger Seer several months ago.
Well I have sheared the driveshaft of my GXPumps CS-1.
No joy from the manufacturer on parts so wondering if you could machine a replacement?
The diameter is .4426 if I'm reading my micrometer correctly.

I have a 10" Kral .25 barrel ordered and currently on the way.

I'd like to have it fitted into my Hatsan Jet 1, so the O.D. needs fitting into the breech, a transfer port drilled and 2 O-ring channels cut around said port.

If you are thinking about using a F/A silencer on a air gun..... It doesnt work, I have tried and have both.
My experience is that they are 2 different Units.

I can do it , Crosman Barrels are not all the same , You say press on , and with a set screw. First a press on that is a tight fit and as barrels can vary .005" from barrel to barrel through out the years of Mfg. I would need your barrel to get a Press fit, then it is almost permanent. I would be happy to do it for you, the Price would be $75.
