Does Someone have a picture of the hand cranked Springer at the 2023 Shot Show?

It was announced within a couple months POST show (2022) that the crank to cock project was shelved and not moving forward.

Very poor ergonomics.  The crank looks flimsy. Looks like it would be expensive to manufacture too. Probably why they didn't market it.

Two things would be nice.

1. A beefier looking crank in addition to a lighter crank for field use.

2. Make cranks removable so a socketed electric drill could be easily attached to where the crank goes. This for high volume bench shooting and high volume testing.

LOL... I started my airgun addiction with with MSP and I KNOW I would rather put 5 pumps in a smooth shooting pumper than wind up a jumper. But that's just me.. if you prefer a crank and the recoil of a springer then have at it.

Crossman rates the 392S with 6 pumps at "up to 650 FPS with alloy pellets). Assuming H and N field trophy green at 9.57 grains that works out to only 8.98 FPE.....this for 6 pumps. But you are not using 6 pumps.....you are only using 5 pumps. I'd imagine your power is only 7 to 8 FPE because of this.....about the same power as a HW30 starter gun meant for small children to learning shooting.

And yes I do question your ability to pump up the gun. In fact, here is the evidence below:

I'll get a workout this afternoon..
I plan to do some wadcutter pellet testing at different speeds and distances with the 392s. That thing is a bear to pump past 5 or 6.

Avator, you just aren't using good logic with your arguments.

I dont hunt or kill things (leave that to u folks) so 4-5 pumps in all my multi pumps gets me out to my 30 yard chili can target….especially with a tail wind…..good luck
