No you wouldn't! (I am assuming pump guns with single stage pumps like the Benjamin 392 though)LOL... I started my airgun addiction with with MSP and I KNOW I would rather put 5 pumps in a smooth shooting pumper than wind up a jumper. But that's just me.. if you prefer a crank and the recoil of a springer then have at it. 5 pumps?? 5 pumps?? Why not 6, 7 or 8 pumps?? Too hard for you right?Ha Ha.. I don't need more than 5 for anything I do with the gun. That's why I stated, if that's what you prefer, than have at it.. why would you questions my abilities? Why do you drive a car instead of flying an air plane.. too hard for you right?Crossman rates the 392S with 6 pumps at "up to 650 FPS with alloy pellets). Assuming H and N field trophy green at 9.57 grains that works out to only 8.98 FPE.....this for 6 pumps. But you are not using 6 pumps.....you are only using 5 pumps. I'd imagine your power is only 7 to 8 FPE because of this.....about the same power as a HW30 starter gun meant for small children to learning shooting. And yes I do question your ability to pump up the gun. Ok fellows be careful with your wording, lots people could take it wrong. David
Wow Im running out of civilized forums…and hobbies…lol..to pump or not to pump that is the question and the rub…..good luck
If you look back on the thread you can clearly see where Avator is playing a game. This, in addition, to his comparison being a purposely bad one. Then he tries to play off his trolling with a "LoL". He has too much free time on his hands coupled to not enough sincere interest in Airguns....so he tries to stir things up for own personal entertainment.

I'm not too wild re the idea of cranking springers or pumping pumpers. The object is to quickly release stored energy to make a projectile move. My crazy new idea is a little bit different. How about quickly burning some kind of chemical stuff in a little space behind the pellet so the hot gas makes it move. Anyone ever think of that?
