I have three Liberty's and was wondering if the poppet is the same as the Avenger poppet or is the Avenger an upgraded poppet that would work in a Nova Liberty ?

If anyone knows for sure let me know ;- )

Stephen did a video on the Avenger. The poppet is the same as Liberty. The Avenger valve has a wider seat, so will probably last longer than Liberty.

They are exactly the same and some are already creating leak issues.

My Avenger, Urban, Dar .25 and my Aspen are all running just like the day they came out of the box.
Should I go play the lotto?

Great info guys, with a big airgun company supplying the Avenger, then poppets should be available for a price to Liberty owner's also I would think ?

Have posted this several times before, poppets can be had through Pyramyd Air but you have to call them by phone as the part has to come from their service dept. When I got one two years ago it ran about $20 and came with a new spring.

When you call you might not want to mention Liberty, I asked for a replacement poppet for the Aspen.

If a body had a screw machine, you could knock out the Delrin body at about 20 parts per minute and about the same amount of time for the shaft. Then there would just be assembly. Material cost probably about $1 each doing bulk. This is a rough estimate. Probably a little faster.

The only problem with putting a new OEM poppet in the Liberty is they're still cr*p, until they address what they're using to make the seal the problem will persist. No longer a problem in mine, re-machined valve and peek poppet.

Yes I've got one of duy's poppets in my Avenger I bought about 2 years ago for the Liberty/Freedom works just fine now I just need gauges and seals for the Avenger.

It was soon after the ATI Liberty came out which is probably pushing two years, I bought the wood stocked Liberty when ATI first made the non warranty parts guns available. I'd say that was probably a year before covid19 (March 2020) first started that we were aware of. I'd say it's been a good 2 years, maybe only a year and a half since I bought those poppets from you, the Liberty still holds air great yet with your poppet in it too.

I hope you get your Avenger fixed soon Wayne. I sent mine in to Air Venturi for a leak and it is working fine since coming back. We'll see for how long.

It's nice to see little 1/4 inch groups at 33 yards pretty routinely.

It's already been done. The switch was made to delrin on this past shipment of Avengers (Late Feb/early March if memory serves) and will be the new standard from here on out. I cannot confirm whether or not the replacements we have on hand (the link I posted) are the new ones or old ones though.
