Looks like a keeper . I have always liked the wood on my Koreans . Just a touch of oil and they are good to go . The fill nipple is a must . Enjoy Marvin

Do you all shoot the big bores with open sights or scope it?Did you remove the rear sight or go with a high mount to get over the rear sight on the 909s?

Scopes for most . You can remove the rear sight if need be . I have found that the Leapers off set 1 piece mount works well with the Koreans .Marvin

Go with a low-powered variable with high mounts, and an objective bell around 32mm (no bigger than 40mm TOPS!). You shouldn't have to remove the rear site when using a compact scope with a 32mm objective lens.

Buy the best scope you can afford......good glass is well worth it.

I removed both Rear and front sigths, the rear so I can get any lenght scope closest to the Bore, the front so when using Low, Low power it doestn't interfere with the picture

i have a 3x9x32 and a 4x16x40 so ill try em both to see what works best for me.you all use a 1pc or 2pc mount on them?

4X16 is a whole lot of scope for a bigbore.....the 3X9X32 sounds like the ticket.
I use an older BKL double-strap rings w/ risers. Really nice set-up......worth the money.

I looked at both and went with the3x9x32.it looks like a much better fit and it has an AO also.got my slugs in and my firrings in mail just a minute ago so im gonna try her out in a few!

First old Daisy's,then crosman pumps,then springer's then NP gun then PCP guns and now this big bore.All i can say on big bore is WOW.its more addictive then alcohol!Boy can they do some damage at a distance.shoots very well at 75 yards.They sure are air hogs too.may have to look at a 9mm next

The progression you described is the same as any "normal" person might go through. There is no sickness involved with it, right? Yes, that's right. I agree too. Perfectly normal.

The may be air hogs, but they definitely are a lot of fun to shoot. I was shooting my ,458 outside the other day using some rotted pine logs as a backstop. Those big bullets certainly plow a nice furrow thru that rotten wood and dirt!

question on pressure in gauge.all documents say 3000psi but gauge on gun show red starting at 2000psi.what to go by?Is 3000 the max pressure or is gauge wrong or all of them like this.Thanks

They are all that way . The gauge on the gun is in bars not psi. Marvin
