Just picked it up at a gun auction yesterday. Probably gave to much but it was the highest quality airgun at the auction and it came from a collectors estate. Doesn't look like it had even been shot. I was surprised by the Williams sight and was wondering if it could be ordered that way or if it had to be added later? Also what is the fps. I should expect to get from this AR?

I'm not sure on the fps but you should give it one or two test shots and then examine the transfer port for any whitish material extruding out. If the gun hasn't been resealed the original seals will have degraded by now. I took a chance on a 124 at a gun shop where they would not let me test. When I got home I tried two pellets into a paperback and, sure enough, no penetration and crumbling piston seal. At that point it's time to put it aside and order a kit from Air Rifle Headquarters. Thankfully, JM heavily supports these. Great find, BTW, those 127's don't come up for sale often.

Several years ago, I bought a couple air rifles from a collector that passed away and his collection was auctioned off. All rifles were reported as unfired. I purchased a Beeman R10 and a Feinwerkbau 127. I test fired the 127 and sure enough the pellet didn’t move. I took the rifle apart and the seal was mostly in one piece but detached from the piston. The original seals on the 124/127 would crumble with time, every single one of them were doomed to failure. If yours is still original I assure you it will need replacing. I put a Air Rifle Headquarters kit in mine and it is shooting 13.4 grain pellets at 611 fps for 11.1 FPE. Mine did not have the deluxe stock so I recently made a stock from walnut. I removed the sights and had SpiralGrove make a muzzle brake for me. Nice rifle but trigger is not great.

127's are more sought-after in the American market. In Britain, they want the 124's. The 127 was rated at 680 fps.

Way to go Rich!!!! Nice Score. Whatever you do. Tune it yourself or have it tuned with fresh innerds. Man are you in for a treat!!! Some folks will tell you this model is anemic in power, but nine times out of ten, they aint never shot one before and never experienced the incredible accuracy and smack down of the 127. The triggers,... metal or plastic, can be set up to be real sweet. Maybe not Weihrauch “reckord nice”, but once accurized, it aint too far behind the curve either. Happy shootin!!!!

If you have a plastic trigger, Air Rifle Headquarters has aluminum replacements. Can't hurt to have a spare should it break.

T-Higgs. You are right. Opened breach, loaded, pointed at 2 X 4, fired, decent pop and nothing. Opened breach and pellet had not moved. A reseal is now on the list of things to do. Everything about this gun reeks quality. I'm anxious to get a new kit and get it installed.
Picked up two more Benjamins along with the FWB. I paid the same price for one of the Benjamins not as nice for what I sold one for a year ago. I stayed away from the more than 450 powder burners sold as there is too much competition. I have now run into more guys going for the the pellet rifles for the same reason I did.
There were 458 bidder numbers or more at the auction. At least 458 was the highest number called out for a winning bid. Larned, KS pulled in bidders from Denver, Omaha, Kansas City, Texas and Oklahoma. Several gun dealers also looking for inventory to buy. Ammunition was selling for more than retail because you cannot even find it at a store.
There were only about 25 pellet pistols and rifles. Probably 15 BB guns. Nearly everything came from gun collectors estates. Most pellet and BB guns had their original boxes.
Thirty percent of the people there wore masks including this old fart-me. The remainder are too "dang" stubborn. We were all in close quarters. So far so good.

Rich, auctions are crazy lately. All powder burners sell for more than they are worth. It’s crazy. I’m glad you got a good one though. I bet 85-90% of people there didn’t even know what a Feinwerkbau 127 was. You never see 127’s for sale on the classifieds or at least I never do.

Could the FWB be ordered with a Williams or do they come new only with standard rear sights? I can tell it has been used although very limited. I need to reseal it but I'm wondering about need to replace the compression spring?

I had a 124D at 1 time that had the aluminum trigger, I discovered when tuning the factory trigger I had to replace the spring in the trigger to get the pull weight that worked well with the rifle

Thanks for the response. It is a 127 as shown in the 2nd picture further up. The Williams sight is pictured here. I do not know the differences in these sights. It seems to fit perfectly. The number on the sight may mean something to one of you.

Well you had Christmas in July, and have a spectacular condition early Beeman sold (San Anselmo) FWB with a Beeman Precision Arms S82 aka ARH 124 sight that's specific to your AG!

One more thing,... a rarity gun like that, i would send to Paul Watts and let him tune that rascal. Trust me, you will not regret it,....ever. Worth ever penny and will just increase the value of it. Sorry, no disrespect to the many tuners out there, but I wouldn’t trust it in the hands of any other than Paul.
