Wunderwerks, I do not believe your stock is walnut. Though some 124/127 rifles had walnut stocks, going from the pics on ebay I believe yours to be beach. Great rifle regardless.

WOW ! A non working FWB 127D San Anselmo just sold for $1246 ! Highest I've ever seen one go.

Congratulations ..you really stepped up. A very very nice acquisition!! Also it is an "all original San Anselmo"...  even better. I asked the seller about the stock...beech stained or walnut. He said he was long time wood worker and the stock was walnut. BTW I sold my FWB 127 with the "JNC" mis-stamp on the bay about 3-4 months ago for $1340. but it was not nearly as nice as yours. .However I kept this one....from the UK and been venom tuned.
