so you want a reverse drop block? That's harder to do since I have to cut a thread to replace the end cap. Why don't you do what I did? that way the bottle is not hanging low like your illustrations, my bottle stays closer to the barrel in comparison. the weight is not bad, believe me you do not want the weight in the back since a bullpup is butt heavy already. every shot will make your barrel jump a bit, that jump transfers to the scope when you go 60fpe and above.

I can not take any orders for awhile, and I try not to cut any threads unless it is absolutely needed.

As I explained, The Wooden stock version of the Flashpup has a much longer stock air tube.

I guess you could CUT the original tube and re-thread it, (And add an o-ring groove?) even though you say you try to avoid re-threading.    But then you're losing some air capacity.  Hmm, that could also work though.  I wonder,  why didn't you cut the tube on the gun you're modding?  Here's a quick mock-up of how it would look:  MUCH nicer, I think, and a better left-hand grip area as well:

Interesting point about weight distribution, though.   I always read that a heavy bullpup's weight isn't too bad because it's mostly at the rear.  Are you saying that more weight in front adds stability to one's hold?

Also, I much prefer the aesthetics with the bottle mouth at the rear.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!  I will be putting it in soon because the original poppet leaks slowly like the original on my Liberty did too.  I never will figure out why on the Avenger they never beefed up the poppet in them cause they're not that great.  Heck I've probably got less than 500 shots through it when the poppet started leaking.

Good to hear from you,will you be offering replacement poppets for the Avenger?

I do, but I dont recommend them. i have a 5% rate that complains about replacement poppets not sealing. mainly i think they burnish the poppet improperly and ended up having an uneven burnish ring on the poppet that wont seal.  even when i tell them not to burnish.

I prefer to mod the valve and make a valve seat insert so the poppet seals with its OD.

duy I never burnished the poppet that's in my Liberty and it's still holding air perfect even after letting it sit for about 5 months now.  One thing that I did notice after I put the peek poppet in was how much more energy that I was getting with the skinnier section on the poppet stem allowing much better airflow.

I'm almost at 3k pellets with my Avenger,got it last july and so far so good but like i mentioned above i keep the preasures low.
I like to get some spares at some point though.

Does anyone know where I can buy the gauges and bonded seals for the AV Avenger, parts sure don't seem possible to get for these guns

LOL, Whatever airguns i workon at the time, I bring it with me wherever I go, so I can always look at it...bad habits.

Wayne, go buy some 10mm gauges, some thick 7/16 "washers" from lowes, stick an oring onto the threaded nipple of the gauge. install the washer and screw in. seals like a champ!

You could also hold the drop block in similar to how valves are secured using screws, would avoid the need to rethread the end of the tube.

Could you tell me what the thread measures that fit the cylinder?
I am Brazilian and I would like to make such an adapter for my avenger, however I need to know the measures to go through to make it.

i hope you dont mean the screws touching the outside diameter of the valve? whats holding the 3000psi pressure?

Fael, the thread that goes into the receiver is m17x1.25. I dont know the tubes thread.

I'm talking about a valve like the Marauder uses, I don't know how the Avenger valve is secured.  Just drill holes around the circumference of the pressure tube and matching holes into the portion of the drop block that is inserted into it with an o-ring at the end.  I drew a picture since I'm not good at describing things with words.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I was trying to see if you meant the Evanix style valves which were threaded into the tube but secured into the breech by 1 screw on the bottom.

The conversion I made to the flashpup is exactly like a plug with 4 securing screws, and no need to thread the tube as I have stated I don't thread tubes. So it's never the problem to begin with. why thread the tubes if you can plug it easily right?
