An Overview of PCP Charging Options???

I completely agree. I don't plink with my big bore so all I want to do is find the right slug, leave it in the gun cabinet and when I get ready to go hunt is top it off and go. I know it will shoot like the last time.

The big N2 bottle sounds cool though.

The only other PCP I have is the AA S500 FAC and it is a miser also(and quiet.)
At this point I am not willing to cast my own slugs because once I find the ones that work there will be no need and if I buy 50 of them then that should hold me for a long hunting season/seasons.

I have 12 rounds of 270 bullets left out of 50 and some day I'll have to get somebody to load some for me.

I really am thinking hard on that big n2 bottle though.

Not trying to hi jack this or anything but after my 75 year old boss man saw my Discovery he got him one ordered but he wants me to go get him a scuba tank but what do I need as a regulator for it.  I use a hand pump since I am still in my young 40s lol.  But he can't pump them up so I am unsure what to get.  All I know is that on the Discovery its a male K valve.  You can just point me in the right direction with a link if you want to and I appreciate it.

Please tell me if I am overlooking anything obvious. If I won't (or can't) pump and don't want to fool with a compressor, my choices, in descending order of preference, are:

1.) If I can find someone locally to rent me a large 4500-6000 psi nitrogen tank and can stand the cost of that plus a regulator and other hardware, that would be my first choice?

2.) Failing the above, if I can find someone locally to fill an 88 cu ft, 4500 psi SCBA tank, that would be second choice?

3.) Failing either of the above, the best that I can do is cascade several (2?, 3?, 4?) HP SCUBA tanks?

Any other thoughts?
