I usually check in every time it pops up as having a new reply, so my views have been numerous since I voted.

Well with an average of just over 10 views per vote it would seem not many read the thread that didn't vote.

Forcing anyone to Vote in any manor is intrusion into that basic choice.

Same amount ores last few years. Not sure how to get people more involved. My one happy though is looking forward the good ones voted

I suspect that the numbers voting are probably a good percentage of the regulars here. My guess is that a high percentage of members join because they have a specific issue or question they want to address, and once their objective is met, they wander on off. A few stick around for the camaraderie, and because they desire to learn much more in a general sense, and those are the ones who will go to the trouble to vote and participate in other ways on the forum.
I dont find it disturbing that 100 or 130 people vote...that is the core and the backbone of the forum.

I bet that if it were checked the number of members that posted at least 20 times over the last 3 months we probably got between 25-50% of those members to vote.
