Today is day 8 that we've been staying in my sister's mobile home while she is in the hospital.  She lives in Loxley, Alabama and is in the hospital in Fairhope.  Please continue to remember her in your prayers.  She has cancer and has had a setback.

Morning...
Cooked my Vevor compressor yesterday when the power company replaced a power pole at the barn. I didn't realize the cord was plugged in to an outlet instead of the power strip and the autostop was turned on. When they turned the power back on the compressor ran for about an hour with no cooling. When I got to the shop it was filled with smoke. It still runs but all the seals are melted.
Today I plan to tear it down and see if there is any hope for it. I have a rebuild kit on hand but I'm not too optimistic.

Good morning, just finished the last of the needle ninjas stabbing me for the red stuff. Work on the van some, fix the prod fill foster, and sieve some dirt to fill up the garden pots for the veggie seedlings that are ready to transplant. Just take the as it comes.

Mornin y’all.  Back to the hospital today.  My SB Adam came up from South Florida and spent the night sitting up with his dad.  Now it’s my turn.  Because of his condition my SF has to have someone with him all the time while he’s in the hospital so we are taking turns.  Hopefully they will release him to the nursing home soon.  My primary group is kind of at a low right now.  We’re all stove up to some description but the lord will provide.  The memsahib and I sound like a couple of old people these days with all our aches and complaints. It’s all just minor stuff though.  Nothing life threatening.  Since I’m in town today I hope to at least get a good lunch out of this!

I've got to make a drive up the hill to Williams to go grocery shopping at Safeway. It's 10% off day for veterans and were getting low on grub. I hate going up that pass. It's the I40 and a major artery for trucks going east. Invariably there will be 1 truck coming up behind another going a whole 1-2 mph than the 1 in front and will swing over into the left lane. So many accidents have happened on that stretch due to that or someone passing a truck on the right. I've no idea how many people have died on that hill but it's got to be between 50 and a hundred every year.

Good Morning! I have been up since 6:30 or so. I have the remnants of the cough but feel almost over it now. At least the coughing fits are gone and my sinuses are clear now.

 I got my taxes done and e-filed, and payed yesterday so, at least I don't have to stress about that today. 

 I have some other paperwork to do today but am mostly just going to take the day as it comes.

Mornin y'all.  We have contractors here again today.  They are starting the exterior staircase to the second floor.  Once I have a 48" wide stair, a big landing at the top, and a nice wide exterior door installed I can start carrying lumber, sheetrock, and appliances up for the renovation.  When the exterior stair is finished the old, cramped, interior stairs are coming out.
