Yep, after waiting until 1300hrs we FINALLY went down and got the post in the ground 🥵!!! I'm wiped out!! The clay was a little damp so it wasn't like digging through rock but it definitely wasn't easy. We used quick creat and of course the one with no experience with concrete what so ever decided she was going to be the one to pour in the water.😡 We were going to go back down around 1800hrs and assemble the rest of the sign but water world girl put way too much so it won't be ready until tomorrow.🤬🤬

Good morning, 73° already and the wind has picked up some. Finish loading feeders and collect eggs. Transplant some pindo palms. They are finally big enough to leave their pots. The fruit(date) can be eaten fresh or made into jelly. Work on the van some. Then this late this afternoon water all the satellite garden spots. Tomorrow starts the needle ninja marathon, blood work with one lab and on Monday more blood work with another lab. Then it's off to the full monty physical in 2 weeks. This is the same physical I had to do every other year to maintain employment. I had to go on a waiting list to get back on it since I don't work anymore. So I don't mind the extra blood letting to stay healthy.

Big friggin pine tree fell over the fence so I had the pleasure of getting the tractor and lifting the tree off the fence then pushing it back onto my neighbor's land where it fell from with the front loader. Then the pleasure of fixing 2 posts and untangling barb wires then stapling them back onto the posts and driving a new T post in and wiring it up also. The neighbor came over and did the rest of the work on the fence thankfully. Then blew a chunk of change on a new water heater since the old one nearly gave way but thankfully didn't leak all through the house with it's rusted out bottom. Picked up loads of limbs out of the yards the past several days and thankfully I'm finally done with that. Now for more mowing.

Mornin y’all. The electricians are here! Belle doesn’t like them. She keeps barking at every noise they make. Plans are to watch these guys and make sure they do what we want done and not just what they want to do. Today they are re-wiring the laundry porch, the cess pool lift pump, and my Man/art/BB gun cave. If they finish early enough we’re going to the county library book sale this afternoon.

Good Morning, I woke up at 5:15 and got up a few minutes later.
Yesterday I notice someone hit one of the driveway "edge marker/culvert protection posts" I put in already. It was leaning a sleight bit with the ground on the road side being push over and about a 2" gap on the other side. It did it's job and was easily pushed back into the straight upright position.
They likely caused visible damage to their car but without it they could have gotten stuck, caused tire, or other damage from driving into the ditch. I know accidents happen but am amazed that so many drivers can't drive or backup through between post 17' apart, that is a lot of extra room on both sides of even large vehicles.
No plan for the day yet.

Back to work for the man this afternoon. Before that I’ll hit pops place for some pool then off to the mines. I’m not sure but I think I’m working another ultra shift (32 hours) at work? I will find out when I get there I guess.
Until then I’ll chill here at home with my peeps and soak up as much of it as I can. It sure has been nice to be at home and on my own timeline.

Finished one round of blood work, another one will be on Monday. Done shopping for the next month and a half. Just make do with what I stored up for now. Not much else for today. Right shoulder has give out again this week. So it's take it easy again for a minute.

Gil.
We are gutting and completely renovating the antique barn we live in. The only part that isn’t being rebuilt is the bathroom. It’s a small house so we don’t have much to do.
New kitchen, new bedroom, finish the laundry porch, add an outside staircase to the unfinished second floor. Finish the second floor into a bedroom/bathroom/sitting area. Move the interior stairs to a different wall and renovate the utility crawl space. Add hot tub.
As soon as we finish the upstairs our daughter will decide to move home with us again. Nature abhors a vacuum.

I doubt it was intentional, if it was they must regret it because I am sure a car would get the worse damage and they got quite a jarring when it stopped them cold.

Mornin y’all. Today I have to go to the Library book sale. I promised my buddy Geoff that I’d go. The traffic promises to be awful so I ain’t looking forward to it. Afterwards I’ve promised to take the memsahib to her favorite restaurant and I plan to visit the cemetery.
