Nope... no fiber glass insulation. This was a screened in porch before we closed it in and it has 2" foam board insulation on the ceiling. No damage just a wet area rug that was hung out to dry.

Mornin y’all. Up with the sun. Getting real tired of sleeping in this chair. I went out twice last night as is my schedule now. I checked my different OP’s and watched the pasture for about an hour each time. A doe and fawn passed along the far tree line about 0430 but I saw no other critters.

The plan for today is more recuperating.

Good Morning.

I really tired myself out yesterday and was able to get to sleep earlier as a result. I got 6 1/2 hours total sleep but did wake up from pain 5 times. Still a little over 6 hours of total sleep is really good for me.

I have some EXTRA pain this morning as expected after moving and climbing our 24' extension ladder but, feel good about the work I got done earning that pain. I have been in worse pain without a direct reason for it.

I plan on more of the same today but in color, see what I did there alluding to the paint going on.

The work will start around 8:00 AM.

Today's plans were completed early again this morning. We got all the debris from the roof cleaned and moved to fill in some low spots around that water lays in. It will compote into dirt eventually.
Then I hung a couple more of the 4' LED lights I picked up at Walmart yesterday.. one above the cleaned up workbench in the Castin' Shack and the other above the Vevor (YH) bench in the Red Shed.
I also picked up a couple cord reels for 2 100' power cords I have. These were on clearance for $10 each.
I connected a set of external speakers to the streaming flat screen in the RED Shed and finally tested some H&N Rabbit II Magnum slugs another member sent me with the P-Force Tactical. That was like icing on the cake.

Now it's just a wait n see if this wind dies down some and let the Secret Squirrel drive for the rest of the day.

Some stomach bug going around the house, SwMBO was up most of the night paying homage to the porcelain god, I am just feeling what she described as symptoms, so I called in to work as a precaution

I will get paid to play with airguns until I am sicker

There are a few others that attend church here that are supposed to come out for the scheduled "Church Work Day" tomorrow so if we don't get done today we will hopefully put the finishing touches on it then.

Mornin y’all! Nuther night in “the chair”.

Man I’m stiff! Groggy, grumpy and mean! The electricians showed up about 0930 and I was asleep for once! So now I’m sitting in the garden with a big cup and my pipe trying to figure out if I’m awake or not. The memsahib is showing the electricians around and explaining what we want. Basically we want to rewire the whole shebang. Since this is an antique farmhouse we are talking about here we ware willing to go with external conduit. A lot of older houses that were built before rural electrification were upgraded with external conduit so it looks period appropriate if we do it.

Got another electrician coming at some point today for a second estimate so my plans are to stick close to the shack, work on airgun stuff, and continue my recuperation.

Mornin y’all. I slept pretty good last night. I only got up a half dozen times.

Friends may stop by today but otherwise the plan is to work in the garden and take it easy.

Good morning, a little nippy and some frost here this morning. Weather service miss that one as usual around here. Anyway, do a little gardening this morning till it warms up some. Check traps for pests. Get the van lined up to straighten out the front.

Already feed the horse aka great Dane and the goats. Just kicking back and enjoying the day. Going to continue bing watching Home Improvement on Netflix. I've got today and tomorrow not doing much but I'm sure the boss aka the wife is got a whole bunch planned for Monday after I'm home. 😵‍💫

No grout yesterday so it’s grout for today’s plan. Then if the weather stays dry I’ll have to make sure that I get outside and throw some lead with an airgun. I’ve really been wanting to shoot the 601.

Piloting the boat is no problem. I can’t handle the lines by myself though. The state says I’m not fit enough to pilot a commercial tour boat with paying (litigating) passengers. I have to be fit enough to perform first aid and rescue functions. I won’t be there for a while.
