Good morning, gray day with no rain so far. Taking the van to get looked at for my benefit, still nothing out of the insurance bunch. Worn out from dealing with this mess. Like I don't have enough to do around here. Was filling up the Factor and Urban and the orange compressor wasn't putting out so that has a taken a number and in line for repair or maintenance. It came with a repair kit but finding another one is going to be a real pain. I can get the kit off amazon but I rather not have to with they way they handle things. I still have to Nomad ll to fill the guns. I will eventually invest in a diving compressor, not only fill the guns but get back into scuba diving a little.

Good morning, it got down to 36°F overnight, we are forecast to get up to 72°F today and 74°F tomorrow followed by two days that the high temp is forecast to be in the mid to upper 60's°F. The lowest overnight temp on our 10 day is 34°F and the highest temp forecast is 75°F. I love this weather, my favorite weather of year!   

 We do have a 30% chance of a little rain on Thursday evening but what is forecast is only .01" so, we might get a few drops of rain.

 My wife is flying in to Palm Springs Thursday so I will be making sure the housework is all DONE before then. I have been keeping it up, so I will just try to make it extra nice for her.
 My "One meal a day plan with very few snacks" while she has been gone has resulted in me losing a few pounds, I weighed 202.6 lbs. this morning. I might make it to or under 200 lbs. by Thursday? I can tell my 38" pants are a little looser at the waist now.

Dan I like it best sunny around 45-50 degrees so the wasps/yellow jackets and flies aren't landing on me when I'm outside and I'm not walking into spider webs. I can carry food and drink out on the patio without anything trying to land in it. Too many yellow jackets harassing me lately. Is my favorite time of year too because no mowing or weed eating.

Took Pops to the ER late Sunday night.  I was there with him until the next morning.  He is still there in pain (pancreatitis).  They are trying to manage the pain and keep him hydrated.  No food by mouth.  He is very cranky understandably. 

I’m going between the hospital, the house to help my mom, and my house.  Today’s plans are the same, make my rounds and still try to be productive at home.  The bath project is on pause for the moment until we get through this all.  I may have to back out of my OT shifts at work this week depending.  We shall see.

Had to drive to Kingman to the vets. Just taking one of our 5 remaining dogs to get a check ✔️ up to make sure he's ok.

Thanks fellas!  It’s much appreciated.  Had a good visit with him today.  He was not hurting as much.  He’s a tough old cat so for him to want to go to the hospital he really had to be in pain. 

I visited with mom some and offered to take her to see pops but she wasn’t up to it.  Tomorrow I’ll go to work and my aunt (mom’s sister) will be there to visit with her tomorrow.  I’ll take her to visit tomorrow evening if she doesn’t go with her sister during the day.

Apparently I was done sleeping at 3am this morning. 
Got up and ran a K-cup of hazelnut cappuccino, put food in Boss's bowl and turned on the recorded Cowboys/Bengals game.
I have a few more things on the list to do in the shop reorganization then I have a few other things on the list. I need to hang the security camera and run the cable. When the dvr arrives all I will have to do is plug it in.
I need to find a good spot for some gun cases or bring the guns back in the house.... probably should do the latter. Then the empty cases can be stored overhead.
I might start on the QB78 C02. I have everything to put the action together and test fire it... see if it holds C02 or needs more work. The stock is due to arrive tomorrow.
The rain is suppose to subside this morning and it's supposed to be dry for the next several days... we'll see.
This is the type of weather where it's easy for a guy to get sick.

Mornin y'all.  Raining today.  Not sleeping either.  Thinking about calling in because both shoulders are killing me.  But that would drop the whole load on our assistant park manager and he's got enough problems.  So I'll eat some more grunt candy and go to work.

Just remembered that we have a staff affliction meeting at 1100.  I think I'll plan to drive the 1100 boat.

It is around 15 F this morning and windy.
The wind speeds are around 18 MPH to 26 MPH.
We got some snow last night.
At sun up I will be going out to blow the snow.
The temps will be steady dropping all day for a low of of around -10 F early this evening.
The wind chill is around -5 F this morning and that will be steadily dropping too.

61° with light rain here. Waiting on auto salvage places to open and begin the hunt for a complete front end of the van. I need the entire bumper assembly, replace the radiator and water pump, replace the engine mounts which I already have just never around to it, and the fan belt, the rest of the vehicle is fine. The frame of the vehicle never buckled so that saves me a trip to the shop to get that fixed. Then start the hoop jumping with DMV to legally get back on the road again. I still got to get the windshield wiper motor out of the truck so can I drive in the rain. RainX and a squeegee doesn't quite get it.  AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH retirement life!

No rain and the sun is shining here but it's windy as all get out. Only supposed to get to 53 today... 47 right now.

I need to put plastic on the window a/c units. Too much of a hassle to pull them out and put them back in.

 I told the boss I would have a case of anal glaucoma, and would have trouble seeing my butt going to work today, the weather forecast looked like it did last week when my 45 minute drive home turned into an hour and 45 due to poor driving conditions.
 I have a Gamo Swarm to check out, then may break out the Recluse for some moderated indoor ballistic testing, for the weekend hunt.

Good Morning!
 I woke up about 4:45 this AM. This is my last full day before my wife is back from our son's house. I have some laundry to do, and some more housework. I also have Bible Study tonight.

 Hemet temp got down to 34°F overnight, on my back deck against the house my thermometer saw 41°F. I can feel that it is colder on the front/north of house than it is in back. This time of year with our dry climate here and with overnights temps dropping there are VERY FEW insects. I have seen some honey bees, but they are just about their business. No flies or fruit flies, and certainly no mosquitos, maybe right over by the Lake.  Mosquitos at my house are really rare. I didn't see a wasp at my house within the last year either. 

Flies and fruit flies and spiders are the main insects that are plentiful a few months per year when the temps and humidity are right for them.

Today our humidity got up to 23% overnight and is forecast to be ONLY 6%  at 1:00 PM.

 It is forecast to get up to 74°F today.

Have to take the water trailer to the trailer shop and get the suspension upgraded so the springs don't break as often.

Dan I had a yellow jacket flying by me today so I sprayed him with brake cleaner which stopped that habit. It was 53 at that time from 29 beforehand. I keep brake cleaner on the patio by me for just such an occasion. Killed several flies with it too.

Good Morning. I woke up at 2:10 this morning. I laid in bed listening to the radio hoping to sleep a bit more but didn't get back to sleep at all. I got up at 4:15.

 I pick my wife up from the Palm Springs Airport at around 2:00ish PM her flight is supposed to land at 1:48 PM.

 I am very glad she isn't flying into LAX. 

 I weighed myself first thing today and I weighed in at 200.6 LBS.       So, I will be ready for some of her Holiday cooking!

 My wife takes VERY good care of me so, I am glad she is coming home today. She is planning a trip to Idaho to teach a grand daughter in-law Quilting pretty soon. I am not sure what dates they settled on for that trip. All I stipulated was being home for Christmas.

 I got all the housework done yesterday so all I have to do is relax and wait until time to go pick her up.

It is -15 F outside and the wind chill is around - 26 F.
The high today is forecasted to be 4 F.
Thankfully it is not as windy as yesterday.
