Mornin y'all!  I wallowed in bed with the memsahib this a.m.  As soon as I get up the gumption I'm taking a dog and going hunting.  In an attempt to seduce my wife I promised her a trip to the dump, the thrift store, and the Chinese buffet today so my afternoon is set.

You're gonna want to bottle and sell that technique.

Outta bed 0830.  Cappuccino.  Surf.  Throw more mud on the walls in the bath and laundry.  Head in to work for a 32 hour shift (4/8s in a row).  I don’t like wishing my life away but I’m looking forward to getting this house project done and getting past the New Year so I won’t have to be so busy all the time.

Well, I can say that the bank teller at my bank has no idea what she's doing. I gave her $100 to deposit into my savings account and she entered $200. I pointed it out to her but when they went to correct the error they left the $200 in my savings and gave me $100 in my checking.🤬🤬🤬 Now I have to go back and get it fixed again!! They're just lucky I'm a honest person.

HE had stepped away before he noticed and tried to get her attention and she told him if he had ANYTHING else he would have to wait in line again. He just said loudly "Nevermind then, I'll just keep the extra cash you mistakenly gave me, then he proceeded to leave.

I took a few minutes to remember Pearl Harbor.  I lost a great grand uncle in the attack. 

It seems the Big Events of the past are being forgotten in this era of RIGHT NOW-despite the greatest learning tool sponsoring remembering and learning.  It seems the focus is living in the moment, but not the way a dog does.  Instead it is all YOLO and FOMO.

Strange.. 

I woke up at around 3am but fell back asleep until 5. That's the latest I've been able to sleep in some time.
Drank coffee and surfed until Betty Lou got up around 7:30. She had her coffee and went through her morning routine then put some laundry in and headed for the kitchen.
She made toasted English muffins with sausage patties, tomato and cheese.
She's out hanging laundry (we have a dryer but she prefers the hang them out) and I'm headed to the shop to get the stove fired up.

I've got a lot on my to do list.
Put mower away, get snowblower ready, move logs around, clean up some brush, clean gutters one more time before big snow, go to dump, slow cook some ribs, take nap, shoot.    Ribs, nap, shoot, those are the important items.

I have to pay annual dues at one of my clubs.
The ol’ lady has me a bit stressed out so,
I will touch off a brick of .22lr while at the range.
A brick has a very calming effect on me..

On the work schedule it says LG/B next to my name today.  That stands for Late Gate/Boats.  Means I'll be the late shift at the ranger station but I'll have to drive a couple of boat tours first.  It's quite nice outside so it should be a good day.

Morning...
Up at 4 this morning..
Made coffee and went out to the shop and got the fire started in the woodstove. Then I came back in and got my shower.
Went back out, stoked the fire and looked around for something to get in to.
The QB Bottled gun was still on the bench and a sat down behind it. I was fooling with the silencer yesterday and managed to get it all jacked up.. that's where I left off.
So the plan for today, as of now, is to see if I can make it any worse..

A little squirrel hunting on the property, put 2 in the pot for lunch. Probably load a few fishing rods and find a quiet place to fish and just take it easy for the day.
