My plan is to process my deer, then later we will be having a beef roast with the fixings vs turkey, though I could have provided both venison and turkey, as if I were armed with my turkey air rifle shotgun yesterday I would of had both meats

Gonna make any sausage?

I was thinking of adding my sausage scraps to my bosses harvest, he has a batch of sausage made to give out to the employees, but he had a couple years of lower harvest, as he sold and bought a new house through that time. I figure add to the pot so to speak.

My parents and MIL should be here around noon.  April (eldest daughter) and her bf will be here then too.  I’ll throw the turkey on the smoker and we should be eating around 1400.  Much pool 🎱 should commence during the day.  We will enjoy an indoor fire and possibly an outdoor fire as well.  I’m just looking forward to having some down time with my family gathered ‘round.  I have MUCH to be thankful for 🙏🏼✝️🌅

Happy Thanksgiving!

 Our big family meal is scheduled for 6 PM at our youngest daughter's house, I am not happy about the late scheduled meal but do understand the coordinating everyone to be there at a certain time is tough. For me I don't eat large meals late in the day, in fact I skip eating after 4:00 PM about half the time. So, I plan on eating a small plate and of course some PIE. Our son-in-law has a large family with lots of local relatives that will be there. They are mostly drinkers but all get along great which is a huge plus. We have been to a lot of his family holiday get togethers and there has never be so much as even bickering. So, even though my wife and myself don't drink we are thankful that they are a family that loves one another even with impaired judgement they have always controlled their selves.

Our weather is perfect today, IMO!

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!  Number one daughter has gone to Texas to stay with her aunt for a while.  Mom has gone to town to spend the day with her husband at the nursing home.  My brother has been evicted for almost one month and has not returned.  Hasn't turned up on the police mugshot webpage either.  No news is good news!  The memsahib and I have the place all to ourselves for once.   We have a lot to be thankful for!  Thanksgiving dinner will be simple.  A green salad, grilled pork chops, baked potato, steamed Asparagus, yeast rolls.  Neither of us wants to cook a huge Holiday meal.  We plan to lay around the shanty and enjoy each other's company.

Got up and started my turkeys one is done the other is off the smoker and in the oven to finish off. Will eat later I am hungry.

 Good morning! I got to bed around 12 and woke up at 5:13, I feel pretty good this morning.
 
 I plan on spending time with my wife today, she is leaving to go to our son's in MO tomorrow. She is going with my niece that is moving there to both catch a ride and help her drive and for company on the way. They are caravanning with some of her friends that are moving to southern MO too. My niece is going to be staying in my son's guest house and he found her a job for her already. She has been a beautician in CA for about 20 years, so she will have to obtain the MO license first thing but can then go right to work.

 My wife will be flying Springfield/Branson to Dallas and then Palm Springs on December 12th. I'll hold down the fort with Hank and Patches while she's gone.

 I miss our Terrier mix Kellen too. She was a demanding pain sometimes but, loving too. She got to lick my plate a lot and she was very patient waiting for me to finish eating though. When she was young it was nearly impossible to keep her in the yard since she was good at climbing the fence. The last few years she never got out as long as the gates were closed. She did prefer to hang around my wife over 1/2 of the time. When my wife was not home she would stick close to me.

I been up for an hour or so having coffee, surfing and sorting files and watching streaming stuff on Red Bull.
Getting ready to head out to the shop and get it fired up. It's a chilly start this morning and not expected to get out of the 50s.
I have some things in mind for the QB bottled gun project that I will be exploring today.
