Good morning, a balmy 46° here this morning. Do a little cooking, finally have enough squirrels and the fixin's to go in the crock pot. With it being cooler work on opening up the fire lines so I don't get slapped off the tractor when plowing the lines. Not much else for now.

Good morning I woke up at 3:54 this morning, I'm up and dressed and got my coffee.
Yesterday my low back got really tightened up, to the point that I could only walk slightly hunched and not straighten up completely. I know what caused it was putting together the leaf sweeper I bet over Unsupported. Well this morning it feels a lot better and I can straighten all the way up again. That was a lot faster recovery from the inflammation that I caused by bending than normal, it usually take 2-4 days to recover when I aggravate it like that.

I don't have any concrete plans for the day yet. It is my wife's stitching group day. With the way my back tightened up I did not do any leaf cleanup I may do that to day, or I may wait till tomorrow, we'll see how I feel later on. Whatever I do I will be extra cautious with my back.

The daily forecast here says it will get up to 81°F, but the hourly shows a high of 79°.

It's 37°F right now and looks like it will be a great day for outdoor activity.  It is forecast to be 62°F by 9:00 AM.

Mornin y’all!  I’m out of the box today!  I’ve got the late field shift which should be pretty easy on a day like today.  Nice and cool this a.m.  That  should bring the manatee up river to congregate at the spring.  I’ll have to drive a couple of boat tours for sure today so that should make things interesting.

Madd sorry for your loss. Been there many times and every one of them sucked. Last time for me happened at 1am on a weekend and I also had to drive out of town. Until we meet again doggies have fun up there.

Nope... as usual, I told her to just focus on the Turkey Day meal.. she goes all out on that.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday, we made it! I got up around 0500. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe. I don’t have a job on me yet, but it’s cold out there. I’m not ready for the cold, we’ve been spoiled. I’ll have to call the office to see what’s up for today.

Got up around 4 and put the coffee on. Fed Boss and let er out to bark and chase any buggaboos away. Surfed the web a bit then went outside and split a couple logs for the wood stove. Got a nice fire going and turned the small circulation fan on to warm the shop up... it was 40 in there to start out. So far we're up to 45 and rising. When the temp outside and the temp inside meet at around 60 I'll let the fire die out and open the shop doors up.
The package that is due today may not make it according to tracking. If not I'll just putter around the shop. There's always something to do in there.

Dang it's cold out dare!!! Check the wind chill 🥶🥶but it's also suppose to get up to 69f! A 40f degree change in temperature.

They calling for frost tonight. The shop is up to 60 now... very comfortable. The mini desktop fan pointing upwards is doing a good job of dispersing the warmth around the shop.
There is a wind outside making it feel chilly out.. not as windy as yesterday though.
No sign of the expected package yet.. I'm losing hope for it's delivery today.

No work for today, but that could change if they get a call. I hate thinking I’m clear for the day, getting into something and then they call. But, I’ve got things I can do around the house. If I get into it, whatever I choose, I just might ignore the phone if it goes off.

44° here this morning and the winds have picked up. Managed to get one squirrel this morning, so that's one more for the crockpot this weekend. Go pick an engine for the string mower the other one died this week. Not bad for 12 years of hard core mowing around here. Mail run and pick up a few other things.

Good Morning. It's a cool morning. 36°F at 4:41. I woke up at 1:50.
I had gone to bed early So, I got 5 hours and 16 minutes sleep, according to my smart watch.

It is suppose to get up to 71°F here today.  Haven't made any plans yet. I am enjoying by coffee with Peppermint Mocha Creamer. When my wife gets up i'll check with her to see if she has any plans today before I make any plans of my own.

Up at around 4:30 to the usual routine.
Not sure of the plan today, kinda slow getting started.
Nick (Killer's nephew and current land owner) and his wife Alayna came over last evening (it was her birthday) and we did some drinkin' and it wasn't just beer. 
Then they dropped a bombshell on us...
He said if we pay our monthly rent one more year (until next Dec.) we will have paid what he paid for our place in rent and we will no longer have to pay rent..    It will remain in his name but we will live here rent free until we both die or move out. In exchange we will continue the upkeep as we have. However, we will be responsible for repairs such as water heater failures.
He will keep insurance up for fire and storm damage... stuff like that and cover repairs during this final year.
What a great couple kids.
Anyways... the plan for today is for him to come over and we have a look at that drain issue.. we need a more permanent fix.

I'm going to be receiving chemo and radiation treatments for my cancer.

I visited radiation yesterday and they made the mask that holds my head immobile.

The mask is made up of a sheet of soft plastic mesh. Then it's heated up and placed over the face / head and gently worked to
conform the contours of the face.

It holds my head in the exact same place every time and holds my head so it cannot
move at all.

It actually feels like a warm towel at a barber shop.
It felt nice and soothing.

They let it cool down and as it cools down it hardens to keep the shape
it was molded to.
