Happy Birthday Bill, You caught up, you are as old as I am now.

Good morning, I woke up at 4:00 but stayed in bed and was able to get back to sleep eventually, and then woke up at 7:00.

 My pain level is a bit higher than normal this morning, not sure if it is just from extra time in bed or from assembling the 54 inch Brinly Tow-Behind Lawn Sweeper I ordered to help with leaf cleanup. I got here at about 3:00 and I got it assembled just as it got dark. I had to have my wife help with the hamper frame. Getting the top frame through the top of the hamper was a real struggle, The material was very stiff and the tube bend was almost too big to force through it. If they used and inch or two more material it would be easy.
It might also be easier in hot weather, maybe it would stretch a bit?

 Plans? Well the power company is going to replace our power pole today and they say our power may be off up to 6 hours. I am not sure when they are going to get started on it. It is an end of line pole on our property, I imagine it takes a little more to replace than one in between other poles.

I plan on mostly just finding stuff to do outside while the power is off.

I will likely try to sweep up some leaves as soon as the dew dries up. It is 49°F and supposed to get up to 71°F today.

Our power was off from 9:20 AM to 4:10 PM.
They had trouble digging the hole for the new power pole so, it took longer than it would have otherwise The ground was ROCK hard.

They cut the old pole right above the Coms so, the phone line and Spectrum is still on the old, now shorter pole next to the new Fiberglass pole.

 Your right about the Lineman's union not touching the Coms. The guy's here today from Southern California Edison said they decided they won't be removing the old pole because it is too near the property line fence and another fence too.

In that case, I doubt if the Coms will even bother with moving their stuff. If I'm not mistaken, they have to pay a lease to use the utility poles.
When our FO cable came down a couple months ago and the tech had to reconnect it to the pole I asked if he could raise it. He said they had to keep it 3' below the power and they were not allowed to raise the power. Being the back country rural area we live in, he did raise it to within 1' of the power line on the slide.

Morning...
Started waking up at around 3:30 this morning but managed to doze for another 30 minutes or so until the call of nature forced me to get up. 
Boss got up with me and decided to get a case of the zoomies. She ran circles around me kicking at my legs and barking in her deep booming voice. I heard a "hey!" come from the bedroom and just knew I was going to get blamed for the ruckus. 
I put food in her bowl and tried to get her to go outside but she wasn't having it.. she just wanted me to chase her around. My "chase gear" don't work to good no more so I had to let her play it out and take my lumps when Betty Lou gets up.
Today is payday and we usually go to the big city for our bulk grocery run but we did it last week.. early this month. I'll just pay bills online and see if Betty Lou has any plans when she gets up...  if she even talks to me.

 I woke to cats staring ay me waiting for me to get up and give them their morning party treats. I will most likely continue tinkering with the FX DRS. Replacing seals. I may mumble a few things that a Norwegian would say about a Swede

Good morning, a light drizzle and damp here. 3.5 inches of rain in the gauge. Do a little shopping this morning, just the basic stuff. Round up some more boat repair stuff for my friend.

Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! I got up just after 0500. I don’t have a job on me for today yet. But, a friend called last night and it sounds like the blower motor to his furnace is locked up. Depending on what kind of work day I have, I need to hook up with him to see what he needs. He just wants me to show him what needs done and how to do it and he’ll pay for the parts he needs. I don’t mind that kind of service call at all.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I woke just before 0400, but said nope… started my coffee and got another 45 minutes of sleep. If I’ve got nothing else, I can sleep pretty good. I didn’t work yesterday, but I did fix my buddy’s furnace. It was just the capacitor for the blower motor. I got some work done around the house, too. I’ll have my coffee this morning and get Ayrabella on the bus for school. I’ll have to call the office to see what I’m doing today.

Been up for an hour or so. Having coffee and surfing with a college football game streaming.
Gonna grab a shower and head out to clean up a work space for the QB tinker projects arriving tomorrow.
That will most likely lead to other things that need attention in the shop and I've been threatening to do.
