Our power was off from 9:20 AM to 4:10 PM.They had trouble digging the hole for the new power pole so, it took longer than it would have otherwise The ground was ROCK hard.They cut the old pole right above the Coms so, the phone line and Spectrum is still on the old, now shorter pole next to the new Fiberglass pole.

Here one service can't touch another's stuff. Your right about the Lineman's union not touching the Coms. The guy's here today from Southern California Edison said they decided they won't be removing the old pole because it is too near the property line fence and another fence too.
That reminds me I need to make sure the blower on my wood boiler is ready to go, been such a mild fall I hated to fire it up til needed.
