Back pet sitting through Tuesday. Wife just called and said the heater blew up.🧐 Not sure what happened? It's just a non forced air propane heater. She said it did a loud bang that scared the.... out of her and the pets. She has a electric heater she can use until I get home Tuesday.

Good morning, the usual morning routine. Finish fixing the chainsaw, the carburetor needs tweaking some. Cleaned up and checked everything in the boat yesterday. Pull out the cast nets this afternoon and make sure there no holes in the net or at the bottom where the lead line is attached. The weather will break mid week so fishing ought to be good for a day or two.

Miss Kris, I think you're one of the busiest, if not the busiest member of this forum 

I hate sitting around unless the arthritis kicks in then I go into do what I can do mode without making it hurt more.

Slept pretty good in my own bed last night.  I drugged up because of this cold I have.  I feel much better than I did yesterday while at work.  Fortunately work was fairly quiet and I had a lot of down time to just be still and rest.  The cold has moved into my chest now so I have a little cough going on.  I hate coughing.  It’s not as bad as it should be based off how congested I have been.  I’ll take an easy cold over a bad one any day.

Since I have a cough I’ll be staying home from church.  No real plan.  I’m going to take it easy.  I may work on the Tyrolean stock or I may go outside and shoot.  I haven’t really been in the airgun mood lately.  It goes in stages.  It used to be that I couldn’t get enough trigger time.  Now when I think about it I feel that it’s too much effort to get a setup going and take a few shots.  I do have to admit that the handgun bug has bitten me and that’s all I want to shoot right now.  I’m bored with static shooting (stationary position/distance to target).  I need to be up and moving around.  I was even doing that with an air rifle the other day.  I had three targets at 3 distances and I would move around between them while cocking and loading.  It just gave my mind and hands something to do while shooting.  Just that extra challenge was refreshing.

I got up at 3:30, we had Sunday School 8:30-9:20, Church after that. We dismissed around 10:45. My wife and I went out for Pizza. We came home and I talked with my son and a grandson on the phone for quite a while. I am considering a quick nap now. We have our evening service at 5:00 and our monthly business meeting following after tonight.

A whole body massage would do you good.

It’s one of the perks living in the archipelago, the ease of finding a masseuse/masseur for so cheap a price.  A  “Hilot” , aka healer, does an even better job, but you will be smelling of coconut and liniments 😂 Their potion is usually a mixture of herbs, roots, etc… You’ll break air, belch, groan—-it’s like a combo of pleasure and pain when they press those points

A old male Hilot completely healed my dislocated right arm while I was in the 5th grade. I fell from a height, braced myself with my right arm and dislocated it. Almost fainted from the pain and wished I did! As I remember, he did 4-5 sessions on me..He was known as the best in our city at that time..

Also back in the early 90s, post college, I sprained my ankle so bad while I slipped from a plank. Another old man Hilot treated me by rubbing and pressing parts of my leg so far from the injury, so I told him that. He told me to shut up    I was back to normal in a few days, the inflammation subsiding like magic and w/o meds

Yes, some of them are extremely good but I’ve also encountered some that are so2x

Once again... thank you, Vets.
Typical morning 'round here, so far. Up at 4:30, put on coffee and hooked Boss up.
Only this morning I brought the laptop into the bar and having coffee at the table with the recorded Craftsman Truck Race on. This is championship weekend for all three series. Watched the Cup series live yesterday and I'll watch the recorded Xfinity later.
Not much else planned for the day until there is.
95% humidity right now but it should be a much cooler day than it has been.

Busy day planned but no finger pulling has been scheduled.   I'll be working in my garage attic.   There's so much stuff to clean up, sort, get rid of, sell.    That attic is a museum of my life.   Cool stuff from every job and hobby I've ever had.  Plus neat stuff I've stumbled across and just had to save.    I'll make some progress occasionally but then I'll find something interesting to fiddle with or read and work comes to a halt.  Up there is every car and motorcycle magazine I've ever bought going back to the 60s.  There's gotta be over a thousand of them.  I'm pretty sure the missing barrel tube from my Daisy model 94 (from the late 50s) is up there.  The Daisy was my first gun and it would be exciting to find the barrel.

It's wide open Monday, buckle up and enjoy the ride guys! Load chicken feeders, transform the tractor into a mowing and plowing machine, Deal with insurance guy this morning. Get the chipper/shredder ready it's grinding season again and anything else I can get done before sunset.

Mornin y'all.  Bless all our veterans.  I was out in the woods at 0700 but it wasn't early enough.  I had to hunt in my third best spot.  No joy this a.m.  I'm back at the shack now.  We have to load up our flatbed trailer with junk for a dump run.  Once the trailer is cleared we can use it to move a shed.  Then I need to build the new gangplank for the floating dock.  Don't think I'm gonna get it all done today.

No plans turned eventful day...
The kitchen sink stopped up and I did all I could to unstop it. No joy, had to call a plumber. $200 later they got it to drain slow but it needs work. I gotta dig a hole. We'll put a ghetto septic tank in. The sink and the washing machine are all that will drain into it.
While they were here I got that old laptop out and spent the day trying get 1 of 4 OSs on it. No joy there either.. it is now laying on the dump trailer with the 4 gb ram and the 500 gb HDD laying on the table....   pos.
During all that I watch a nascar race and 2 college football games.

I'll be digging a hole tomorrow.
