Mornin y'all.  Up with the pups this a.m.  Last night I mounted a 3-9X40 Hawke Vantage scope on the new Beeman 1332.  This morning I went down to the river bank and did a rough zero with 25.39gr JSB Kings.  I started at 2700 PSI and there was still some hammer bounce on the first two shots.  Eight shots brought it down to about 2,100 PSI.  Accuracy is excellent.

Today is the memsahib's birthday!  I plan to spend the day pampering her.

I tried to pamper Betty Lou once but she refused to wear it.

Good Morning! I got up at 5:14 this morning. I have drank my coffee and have been net surfing a bit. It is my wife's stitching group day. I am not sure what I am going to do today, I am sure I will keep busy though.

The memsahib’s birthday party went on til 0400 this a.m.  I got up to let the pups out about 0830 and we still have guests asleep in the cottage.  The memsahib is still crashed and I don’t think we’ll see much activity around here before noon.  The dogs have all crawled back in bed with the wife so I’m gonna slip out the back and just go sit in the woods for a while.

Good party.  Real good party!

Up late took a vacation day. Gonna get around and pack the bags heading up to middle Michigan. Plans are to ride the dirty bikes for the last time for the year. St helan and Frederick trails Saturday and Sunday.

Heading over to my brothers.   He has a huge oak which is leaning too close to the house.  We'll put a rope  and a couple come-alongs on it so it doesn't fall on anything he cares about.  He also has a couple big sons to help clean up the mess.   I'm scheduled for the same type of activity at my place but we have way more than one tree to take down and the trees are in more difficult spots so we hired a contractor.

After the tree work, we'll have a family feast.

 After taking out the trash and recycling, I plan to head to the hunting grounds, but will stop in by work for a free lunch as it happens to be employee appreciation day for the seasonal and full time workers. Will sit till sunset, unless I shoot something

Mornin y’all. Up at 0400 this a.m. I was sitting in the squirrel spot by 0630.  By 0800 the nutters were dancing through the trees above with me blasting away like Elmer Fudd down below. WhenI finally wised up and checked zero I found the POI had wandered 18” to the right at 20 yards.  Of course I never saw a squirrel after that.  Still,  I have to say it was fun
Back at the shanty now planning on moving a shed today. If that doesn’t kill me I want to work in the garden this afternoon.

Good morning, the usual morning routine. Finish fixing the chainsaw, the carburetor needs tweaking some. Cleaned up and checked everything in the boat yesterday. Pull out the cast nets this afternoon and make sure there no holes in the net or at the bottom where the lead line is attached. The weather will break mid week so fishing ought to be good for a day or two.

Pull out the cast nets this afternoon and make sure there no holes in the net or at the bottom where the lead line is attached. The weather will break mid week so fishing ought to be good for a day or two.

The package I am looking for was shipped on Oct. 22 and went into Fedex limbo at Ellenwood, GA on the 25th. I emailed the company and they said it was delivered today at the post office. I will have to go the post office in the morning and see if that is the package. This is Fedex Smartpost, really people. I had a 5lb. package of nails shipped USPS from Modesto, CA and it was here in 2 days. I will just have to find somebody that ships USPS for all my supplements and vitamins. I have a few Ebay missed sent stuff in the past, luckily they finally made it to my P.O. Box in one piece. Just another exciting day on the shipping frontier.

Meanwhile they SAY the package will be here tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it. A lot of times they say that and the package arrives the next day after stating delivered the previous day.

After the tree work, we'll have a family feast.

Back pet sitting through Tuesday. Wife just called and said the heater blew up.🧐 Not sure what happened? It's just a non forced air propane heater. She said it did a loud bang that scared the.... out of her and the pets. She has a electric heater she can use until I get home Tuesday.
