Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I got up around 0530. I’ve had my coffee, breakfast and a shower. Even trimmed my mustache and shaved my cheeks. The ones under my eyes, on my face. 
We have Church in just a little bit and small group this afternoon. That’s about all I’m doing today. 

Thanks for not showing us the “other” cheeks!  😆

I woke up at 3:20 but got up at 4:00 when my alarm went off. Power went off during church this morning at around 10:10. After church we went to town and had pizza. On our way there we found the culprit, somebody in a work truck hit a power pole or power still out and we just went by there and there is no sign of any work being done on it. Hopefully they get on it and fix it soon.

I guess I'll take a nap now. It sure is peaceful and quiet with no power.

At work all day today 0700-2300.  I slept here last night.  We have had a few jobs, nothing major.  It’s dry outside so that I a huge plus.  When it’s wet out it makes normally enjoyable task not so enjoyable.  When it’s dark AND wet is when it’s the worst.  Sunny and 75 for me please.🙏🏼

If you want sun the PNW is the wrong place to be. Sure is beautiful there though.

I was sent a picture from a Church member who saw it on their way home from Church this morning but, it was not from an angle that showed the damage to the work truck that hit it. I went by it on our way to get Pizza and can say it didn't make any sense how it hit it.

 It had to go across 3 oncoming lanes a great distance and was a one vehicle accident. The only thing that makes any sense from the damage and impact direction is if the guy was traveling fast and lost brakes and steering, or consciousness prior to impact, or it was hit intentionally? There is a great amount of clear space all the way around that pole on every side.

Our power came back on at about 1:10 PM

25 years working for a city electric utility, I have seen some stuff.  Most of it is no big deal, some of it I would rather not have seen.  It’s life.  I’m here to help.

I went to the internet for these images.  These are two of the more major incidents that I was the first on scene for from the utility.  26 poles down on a Friday afternoon and a tower crane toppled while taking it down (Google building). 
I’m in the first one with the orange vest.  My work truck is in the last one with the crane.  We were in the building ensuring that we had killed the power to the crane.

I was thinking of you today James when we were working our way through traffic by the pumpkin farms by our house.  Two of them are right across the 2 lane highway from each other and the crowds create quite a slow down, sometimes for miles.  We have one more pumpkin farm about a mile away but they are on some back roads with less normal traffic.  I love living by the farms so I’ll put up with the seasonal traffic headache that goes through October.  Today it only delayed us about 5 minutes which was pretty easy.  They had a Sheriff’s deputy out there directing traffic so that may have kept people in line.

I've never been able to understand why some people are so fascinated by an orange colored, roundish squash.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up around 0430. I don’t have a job on me yet, I’ll have to call the office. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe and feel like just going back to bed. We’ll see…

Of course I am up, I did sleep until 6:30 AM. I don't feel like doing anything today now    I am sure I will get some motivation later on  . (Maybe not it's Monday after all) I am drinking my coffee with peppermint mocha creamer today  .

 I haven't stepped on the scale in a while and was surprised to see I have lost a few pounds. I weighed in at 201.8 lbs  .

The pumpkin patch reminds me of the Rolloffs having theirs annually back in the day. I liked the show better when they were all a family before the split.

Boss decided 1:00 am was a good time to go outside and bark all the way around the perimeter of the fence line. She's back in now and I'm going back to bed.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I got up at 0500 and I’m having coffee. I opened the back door for the garage and I thought it was raining. It’s just windy out there, we really need some rain. I have a PM job at an Academy Sports and it’s pretty big. So, I have a helper coming out to help me.

Went back to sleep and just woke up again. I put the coffee on this time and I'll stay up.
We began another project yesterday. This time we're back in the bar.
We had blocked in the screened upper half with 2" foam insulation board and now we're sheeting the inside with 7/16 osb.
We're doing a section at a time and yesterday we did the 6' x 10' nook on the one end where we have a roll top desk and a PC set up. Betty Lou will paint that area today while I prepare to move on to the next section.
