Betty Lou got home from Ohio at around 8pm last night. She brought a full pickup truck full of stuff with her. We unloaded the truck, visited a bit then her sister and bil went to a sweet little Victorian B&B we have here in town.
We were up at 3am, had coffee and Betty Lou dove right into sorting and organizing the stuff she brought home. She brought me lots of goodies for the shop.
Her sister and bil will be here around 9 and we'll visit some more, I'll give them the nickle tour, we'll go have breakfast and they will be on their way back to Ohio.

I'll bet you're both happy she's home!

Yes but, I didn't shake my tail as much as Boss did.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up around 0430. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe and I’ll get Ayrabella off to school. I’m taking a 5 day weekend, so I only need to work today and tomorrow. I don’t have a job on me yet, so I’ll have to call the office.

Thanks John... I'm also happy to report that her sister and bil made a safe return back to Ohio. I don't envy their trip.. they drove the 10+ hours to get here on Saturday and the 10+ hours home on Sunday. Way too much for this old guy.

I'm going to set up a scope on a rifle for a friend.   It's his first scoped rifle.   After that fun, I'll probably go outside and mow or haul brush around.

Well, I tweaked my lower back Friday morning.  I pressed through my marathon shifts at work and had a day to “recover” yesterday.  My back is still very touchy.  It feels like if I move just wrong it’s going to clinch up on me again and I’ll be flat out.  I had started to build a hot water heater closet on the exterior of my house.  I need to continue on that project and get that wrapped up by next weekend so I can move to the inside part of the project.  The clouds are burning off and it’s looking to be a sunny a 70s day so it’s perfect for outside activities.  It’s the end of the season and fall is definitely in the air so there is lots to do outside.  Fall makes the most yard work for us around here out of all of the seasons.  We have been able to enjoy some outdoor fires 🔥 and I’m looking forward to many more!

Brett, that will be nice to get the water heater out and free up space. Take it easy with the back, those things have a way of coming back to haunt you later in life.

So, when Betty Lou got home she told me the house smelled musty. I didn't realize it because I wasn't gone for almost a month and my smeller don't work real good. We narrowed the source to that antique beast of an a/c unit that has been in the front window since Rocker1  was a baby.   
We also found that sometime in the past and a/c unit had gotten the wall wet in the bedroom. So, we got up this morning and went shopping. We bought a new 12000 btu GE unit for the front room. This thing has more whistle and bells than we'll ever use. I mean, why would I need wifi on and a/c unit? Maybe if it would let the dog out when we ain't home but....
Let me just say that that old Frigidaire unit was as heavy as any refrigerator that I've ever moved. The new one is maybe half the weight. Oh, and someone had the bright idea to silicone it into the window. Major pita.
While we were at Lowes we picked up the materials to strip and re skin the bedroom wall. I'll replace the sill, insulation and trim. The dated paneling will be replaced with walnut stained beech luan. As money comes available I'll do all the walls.
Also picked up the wood to do an unfinished wall in the utility room.

That a/c R&R yesterday took it's toll on both of us so after the clean up we decided to unload the materials for the next projects and move them into the shop. Then we called it a day. Betty Lou had a short grocery list so we just filled it locally.
After coffee rinsed the sleep out of my head I grabbed a hot shower and I'm heading to the shop to set up for the bedroom wall job. I'm going to measure and cut all the pieces then stain them. Once dry I'll run the hose in through the window and use my finish nailer to put all together. I have one outlet on the wall to cut for.
We'll see how that goes before we move to the utility room job.
Betty Lou also brought her mom's desktop PC home. I'll get that hooked up and cleaned out and decide where we'll use it. Betty Lou suggests I put it in the shop and replace the tablet I use out there now.

 My work schedule got switched, due to no room for apples in the cooler, I took a load to the press to hold there until, they get pressed Wednesday afternoon, that gives me a full day off today. Now what LOL

LOL... I know what you could do if you lived near me... I could always use a helper.   
Betty Lou is busy doing Betty Lou stuff.
I got all the wood for the bedroom stained. The 4x8 sheet is split and stained. The sill and trim wood is all stained. Once that is dried in good I'll get all the pieces parts measured and cut I'll get it all nailed up like putting a puzzle together. Should go quickly.

I've got to go get filled up with some weird chemicals 🤬🤬. I just hope I end up with a different nurse this time. She only wants to put the IV in the hand.😡😡😡🫨 Man did it HURT. She had to try 2 different places.
