Hurricane prep mode, time to lock it down, fuel up the vehicles, fuel up the tractor, charge everything up, store water, and get extra zoo food. Waiting on a hurricane is like being stalked by a turtle.

Waiting on a hurricane is like being stalked by a turtle.Yep. We’re still pretty well prepared from the last one. Mom’s little camper is loaded up and parked in her driveway. I guess I’ll spend the next two days putting the last bits away and tying stuff down here. These ones that come up through the Yucatán strait can be nasty and it looks like we’re gonna get some of it no matter where it goes.So much for sloth and dissipation.

Yeah, the models are not very promising right now and with Micheal still fresh on the local minds it's hard not to ignore this monster. A lot of transplants are in for a rude awakening around here when certain supplies start to dwindle real quick. Here is a funny one to ponder about, which food isle not the water isle in the grocery store empties the fasted in less than 4 hours. Hurricane survival question for the day.

Hurricane survival question for the day.Beer and wine? Not even close. Here is the answer to the question. It's the entire snack food isle. I mean nothing is left on the shelves not even a crumb. Water is the next thing but hold on the only water that will be left is Distilled water. Soda isle is next along with the alcohol. Those 2 are about half empty by the time a storm hits. Having worked in Points of distribution(PODS) it is amazing how many people are going to survive on potato chips, dip, and soda.
I am living proof that man can survive on peanut butter and Budweiser.

Stock up on the beer necessities (that's how a bear can rest at ease if he's got those beer necessities). There is nothing worse than having to make a beer run in the middle of a hurricane. Ask me how I know. Now go look at the frozen foods aisle Makes you wonder what some people are thinking.
Got a giggle out of the "Waiting on a hurricane is like being stalked by a turtle".🤣😂🤣😂
