Good morning, yes I am still alive. My laptop keyboard died a few days ago and it's been a pain to post. It's also been a busy week for me as well. This morning it's clean out the van to make room for a passenger to make the trip for an anual meeting. Finish mowing the yard, pick up zoo food and mail. Spaghetti season has started so weather watching has been added to the morning routine. All good for now.

It got over 100°F here yesterday, I didn't notice because I was inside or in the car with the AC.
 
 Today is supposed to only get to 97°F and then 101° Saturday and 103°F Sunday. Our overnight lows are still really nice, in the low to high 60°F's.

 We are currently 90°F with 28% humidity and with 0mph wind.  We are supposed to have 11mph gusts later on though.

🤣😂🤣😂 Not living in hurricane area I'd never heard that before. Only place I've ever lived that those kind of storms was when I lived in Okinawa Japan. When my wife and I arrive there it was just a couple of weeks after they had a hugh Typhoon with winds above 200 mph. There was a couple of Marines that were drunk and went out on bolo point to watch the waves break completely over the point. They were picked up by a very high wind gust and blown up to the northern part of the island. At least that was the story. Because they were so drunk they survived. Bolo point is West of yomitan which is the little then fishing village my wife and I lived in. Oh course this was back in 1975 so it's not called bolo point anymore. I guess they said it had sustain winds of 185 mph so the gusts must have been above 200 mph.

Good Morning. Well today my wife and I made it to 49 years easily by the grace of God.
 We decided to go out to diner and to a play at a theater that is about an hour from here. BUT, that will be tomorrow so, we aren't doing anything special today. The squirrel got the best of me yesterday so I will be finishing the grease drip pans today. I may deliver them to my daughters house when I get them done? If not I will need to do so tomorrow morning because they have all their catering grills/crews scheduled for use tomorrow.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I got all my mowing and weed-whacking done yesterday. The girls were having ice cream and painting rocks last night, so I went night swimming. So, I slept in until 0600. I’m having my coffee in the garage right now. Today’s plan is to replace all the deck boards and stairs on our back deck. The railing is still in very good shape, so I’m just doing the boards, stair stringers and steps. I need to trim the bushes out front first and spray for bugs around the house too. I need to get another jug of the bug spray I used on the lawn last couple years. The “no-seeums” are bad this year. For sure, later on we’ll swim. I’m hoping to get some shooting in today, too.

Good Morning!
Thanks to all that congratulated us on our anniversary. We had a great date night. We had dinner and saw a play of Anne of Green Gables at the LifeHouse Theater. Their stage production was outstanding as usual!

I need to repair a drip line and there are other things outside that need work too but it is already on the way to being too hot for that since I haven't started yet. I "think" I just need to replace a cracked riser so, if I am "lucky" it will be quick and easy!

Well my coffee cup is emptied now so I better get at it!

Been up and down since 0430 this morning with the dogs. My shepherd pooped in my bedroom around 0430 and of course I had to get up to clean it up.☹️ Then the little dogs started in an hour later 😡😡 Not upset with the shepherd cause she's 14 years old and getting real senial. She'll be sleeping and just poops. Not 100% sure of her age as she was found abandoned in the desert and we're her second adopted home when the first family that had her lost their home. She's been with us for around 8 years or more. Dang sometimers!! 🤬🤬 can't remember exactly!!
Of course when I finally got up for the last time there was poop and pee on the kitchen floor.🤬🤬🤬

 It is 85°F already and headed for triple digits and the UV index is Very High! (Limit sun exposure to 8-20 minutes.) The sun is scorching and feels like it would burn me very quickly so, I am done out there for now! I have Bible Studies to print and work on my computer to do too so I choose that for now!

Sun screen Dan. Not only does it protect your skin from skin cancer it also stops the feeling of your skin burning. I try and find the highest mineral SPF sunscreen I can find and use it. It allows me, with the use of a wet towel around my neck and a gardening hat on my head to be able to work in high 90s to low 100s for hours.

Here's the hat I wear and the hat band. The hat band is one of those neck gators. I soak it in water and Squeeze a little of excess water then just put it around the hat.

I'll have to figure out a name for her, but I'm sort of waiting to find out
her personality.

There seems to be an iridescent quality in the figure that changes the look when you
move the stock around some.

I don't wear sunscreen I just wear a hat and long sleeve shirt over a tshirt to avoid sunburn. The long sleeve over the tshirt traps sweat which keeps you cool also. You can spray mist onto the long sleeve shirt before you start sweating if you prefer to be even cooler. 

Installed cheap blinds at my mother's place since hers no longer turned. The ez to strip Chinese screws really made the install a major PITA! God help whoever needs to remove those blinds years later because they're going to need all the help they can get. Wore me out. I'll have to weed eat her place later. Recovering with a beer and going to get the new vacuum working that I got her too.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I slept in until 0600. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe and I’ll have some breakfast here in a bit. We have Sunday School and Church this morning. We also have a Potluck and a meeting afterwards. I’m going to bring my auto-ac stuff with me. I fixed our Church secretary’s ac at her home on Friday and found out her car ac isn’t doing too good either. After Church I’ll get her fixed up. I got most of the back deck done yesterday. I’d like to finish that up later, as much as possible anyway. We have small group this afternoon, and I’m sure we’ll get in the pool too.

 Lawn might be dry enough to mow later in the day, 30 yard targets at the ready for the 30 yard match. Coffee and brunch first. Lets wait and see what the Secret Squirrel comes up with
