Morning... welcome to Monday.
Probably swap some guns around today. Bring the guns back into the house from the cabinet in the shop and the standing rack in the casting shack.
I haven't shot the .25 AV Avenger in a while, maybe I'll get that out and shoot it out the shooting window in the Red Shed. Weatherman says it will be 90f and 95% humidity today so I'll be hiding from that so I don't turn into soup. 
I'm also going to bring the CS3 back to the Red Shed from the Casting Shack.
I have the Vevor for 3k and above fill guns and the OrcAir mini for 2k guns in the Shack and the YH and Big Red in the Red Shed for big guns so I want the CS3 in there for the lower fill guns.

Mornin y'all.  I'm in a particularly foul mood today.

The APM dropped the ball.  The poor man cannot draw up a monthly schedule for 20 employees.  He made a last minute change and so I ended up working 13 1/2 hours yesterday.  A bit tired and disgusted this a.m.  Started the morning off right by arguing with the Iron Maiden.  She's 31, married, unemployed, and has to live at home with us because her husband can't support her.

They call these people ""Millennials".  History will remember them as the people that came after the last Americans.

Anyhoo. . . .  Not going to let the illegitimate offspring get me down.  Gonna load the Hatsan mod 135 and maybe one or two other guns in the truck and head back to the sand quarry.

Nothing like blasting junk and happy meal toys into scrap to improve one's mood.

Today I'm applying the Tru-Oil finish and 3 applications done, waiting on the third to cure.
I do some #0000 steel wool buffing then some very light sanding with the 600 grit in between
applications.

I would add a photo but at this stage they would all look the same. The depth it has just can't
be shown with my phone camera.

Funny story.  Back about 1988 I was visiting a musician friend who lived up in the Hollywood hills. We went mountain biking with some of his rock and roll buddies who included Donovan and Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols.  The same guy also introduced me to Jay Leno.

Glad you get a chuckle out of the posts.  Mark Twain said the best way to complain was to make it humorous so people wouldn't think you were a nag.

Well I guess that makes you about the closest I've ever been to meeting a celebrity.

I met a bunch of celebrities in Hollywood.  Several of those meetings were pretty cringe worthy.  I was never comfortable.  I'm pretty sure Shaquile Oneil wasn't thrilled but he was very gracious.  Danny Devito is a real professional and Werner Klemperer was a true gentleman.  I doubt any of them wanted to meet me.  There's a difference between meeting some one and calling them a friend.  I've still got a bunch of friends (musicians mainly) who were sort of famous.  Some of them might be again!

Yesterday evening I started feeling poorly, for no reason I can pin point down, but I think
I feel better today. It's a little early to tell yet having just woke up.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I slept in until 0600, again. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe. I’ll get rolling out to work within the next 15-30 minutes or so. Carter, I appreciate your sense of humor when facing life, too. The older I get, the shorter my wit and I am losing my sense of humor towards my troubles.

Got a call early this morning from the wife of the kid that owns our property. He also owns the 8 acres and double wide across the dirt road from us. He works the pipe line and is out of town for months at a time. They had the double wide rented out while he was on the last job but has since decided to move back in. She said the water company called and said they had used over 120,000 gallons of water last month.      She asked if I would go look for obvious leaks and turn the water off at the meter.
I walked the property but I didn't see any water pooling up. Then I went to the house and was able to look in the windows (no curtains hanging yet) and I didn't see and signs of any leaks in or under the house.
Anyways... Yesterday I brought several guns in from the gun locker in the Red Shed (rotating guns) and today I plan to rotate the ones in the Casting Shack.
