Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday- it’s Friday Eve! I got up at 0500 and I’m having coffee. I don’t have a job on me yet, we got all 3 of those heat exchangers done yesterday. Without a crane, even, it went very well. We did wear ourselves out though. I do have parts I received, I just need a dispatch when the office personnel come in. My dispatcher is out today, but somebody should give me a dispatch by 0800.

Awake at 4:00, Coffee and catch up with internet stuff, Pay the bills, stay in and dry.

I don't know if my wife's stitching group will meet today or cancel because of the rain?

Todays forecast = Periods of rain, heavy at times early. High 54F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall 1.36"  Localized flooding is possible.

Got to drive down to place I'm pet sitting at until Sun night. Was suppose to start tomorrow morning but they want to beat the snow we're suppose to get tonight. They're pulling a 38 ft fifth wheel travel trailer down to glamis for the weekend. They're taking their razor to play in the sand dunes.

Yeah, more airgun money!😁

Good morning, not much going on for me today, finish screwing down the roof on the shed. Clean up the sheet tin pile, move some utility trailers around to get ready to haul stuff around this weekend. Start cleaning up nursery pots for planting vegetables in for the spring.

Probably. I've been thinking of taking my 48 to thin some of the pest birds. They keep pooping all over in the goats house. There's got to be at least 30 of them in the tree near the goats house.

Typical morning routine around the Bar 4B ranch. Betty Lou has 2 loads of laundry already out on the line and I paid the NOTOS some much needed fiddling.
I am free to roam through the garden of airguns for the rest of the day. Sunny and low to mid 60s.

Good deal.. at least you'll get some trigger time. I would go crazy sitting around in someone else's house all weekend with nothing to do. I'd probably eat everything in the pantry and fridge.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! I got up at 0400 and started my coffee. I wound up not working yesterday at all. I did a few things around the house outside, instead. But I felt really tired, despite the nice weather, it was weird. I guess because I was on standby, not a real day off. I don’t have a job on me for today either. I’m thinking, if the office doesn’t have anything, I might take a paid personal day. We get 2 paid personal days a year. It’s supposed to rain all weekend. If I take the day off, after the chiropractor, I’ll try to be more productive around here than I was yesterday. If the office has a full day’s work, I might just take the work. I’m not sure yet.

What the heck is going on? Ben Lang told me it's going to be 64 by noon and 68 by 4pm with sunny skies and no wind today.
Then Jerome and Savannah reported that there will be no less than 3 Mardi Gras parades in the area this weekend. If that was all Winter 23/24 had to offer I'll take it. Heck, Betty Lou hung laundry out on the line all winter long. The daffodils are up about 8" and it won't be long before they flower.
I need to get out and clean up all the fallen debris from the wind and rains we've had over the last few weeks. Today may be a good day to get started on that. This is my kinda weather.

Same here Bill. Been taking advantage of the cooler, dry weather this week. Getting a lot of things fixed and cleaned up so I can get around in the yard easier with the lawn mower. I am finishing up the utility trailers and move them around. Start digging the dirt out of the burn pile to fill in the holes in the yard. Just taking it easy on getting it done, no big hurry.

I only got 29 hours in this week and I figured if the office didn’t have anything already, it’d be only a few hours of work if they dug up something, if anything. I took a paid personal day. At least I’ll have 37 hours, close enough to 40. I also have been thinking of backing off my chiropractor visits to every other week, I’ve been feeling pretty good. Since before Christmas, it seems I’ve only been going every other week or so anyway. I’m going to get some work done around the house and probably shoot some airguns. I hope the wind stays more calm today. I made another 2 cup pot of coffee, then I’ll get after it.
