I had to stop buying Whoppers. I would buy them in the large milk carton box and couldn't stop eating them until they were gone. I was so glad when the doubled the price of them.. I wasn't going to pay that for them.

Gotta go to work at 08:00 on a Sunday and let the Italians in to continue with commissioning our new line.
 I was going to take an airgun and do some squirrel / bunny hunting on the property... but it is STILL raining Datsun Cogs. 
Maybe I set up an indoor range there and stretch out a bit... got plenty of room.

Scott, I think it's awesome that you can shoot indoors at work on off days. I wish I could have done that at my job before I retired. I'm pretty sure that would not have been a good idea with all the completed metal car sections in stacks of racks heading up the road to Hyundai. One little ding would have created a HUGE issue.

The new neighbor that put the double wide is a team leader on one of the 1500 ton tandem presses at the place I retired from. Every morning at 5:30 am I see his headlights coming down the road on is way to work on one of the security cameras and it gives me a warm and fuzzy inside... better him than me.     Especially when it a Saturday or Sunday.
As for today's plan... nothing on paper unless the paper are targets.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday! I got up just after 0500 and started my coffee. Plan for today is Sunday school & Church and then small group this evening. I usually get a nap after Church and lunch. I’ll likely shoot my Airacuda Max some before we go to small group. It should be warmer and drier than it’s been.

 I can shuffle stuff around with the forklift as long as I put it back when I am done.
Each one of those gaylords is 2,000 lbs, and the new line is specked at 6,000 lbs an hour.
 Space is going to fill up quick!

I was awake at 3:30 but stayed in bed until 4:00. Now, my plans for today are a lot like every Sunday with Sunday School, Ch**ch, a peaceful, restful afternoon and Ch**ch in the evening. I am not sure where or what we will eat today but am sure we will. 

The weather is going to be near perfect with a high of 75°F and winds (breeze) of 2-4 mph.

Finish all the projects and clean up the mess that has resulted from it. I had to move stuff to get to other stuff. So now I have to organize and restack some of this stuff to where I can get to it and not have to drag it out all over the yard. Hopefully have dry weather for the next few days and let the yard dry out some. It doesn't take long for the tractor to turn it into a soupy mess.

Yep Kris the tractor is staying in the shop for at least a week to let the ground harden up. I'm not even using the mower hardly either.

The spot that I was cleaning up didn't take long to turn to mush, used the backhoe to drag the tractor out. After that I had to get creative with the clean up. I don't have much more to clear out and will come from another direction. I have grape vines that ran all over the place and needed to be pruned back. The clean up was all the vines that had climbed into brush and trees. I have a special kind of brush pulling chain that made the clean up quicker when I can't get the backhoe in to plant pluck. The backhoe has a thumb on it which makes it easy pluck plants and go dump them on the brush pile and never get off the tractor. I can wrap the grubber around a bunch of vines and pull the vines out of the trees. Beats hacking, whacking and yanking on the vines.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! Back to the grind for me, but I don’t have a first job on me yet. I got up just after 0430. I’m having my coffee, and I’ll get Ayrabella on the bus for school and get ready for work. Of course, I’ll have to call the office. Hopefully, they’ll have something for me to do. It’s supposed to get to 60* today, and all week through Friday’s the same. We shouldn’t see any rain until the weekend, either. My driveway is drying out and firming back up. Hopefully, I’ll get to grade it and get the ruts out, too.

I've already chased the vultures off the boats and scraped the buzzard poop off everything.  The boats are gassed and prepped.  I'm the waterfront supervisor today.  Not quite as boring as ranger station but still pretty deadly.  The bright red color of the life preservers racked on the boats drives the vultures crazy.  At night they perch on the boats and attack the life preservers.  Apparently the red color triggers them because the don't bother much else.  Every morning there are life preservers scattered everywhere on the boats and even drug out on the dock.  We have automatic sprinklers on the dock with motion sensors to set them off when the buzzards alight but they don't work real well.

Hello folks, happy Monday!

I bought one of those sun light alarm clocks.



It delivered yesterday so I set the alarm for 0600 this morning to give it a trial run.  I didn’t wake up until nearly 8 o’clock!  I realized that I hadn’t turned the alarm ON when I went to bed. 🙄😆

Up eventually and made coffee and some yogurt for breakfast.  Chilling and surfing at the moment.  Right now it’s high, thin clouds and the sky is bright!  If this continues it will be a nice day.  High temp is supposed to be 61*.  I’ll take that 👌🏼

We plan on heading over to Clark’s Creek to do our nature walk.  I need to wrap up my Bible study ‘cause we meet tonight.  I need to get serious about that laundry/bathroom remodel here soon.  I am thinking that I’ll wait until after we get back from AZ to get started.  I really would like to have had it done by now but life just didn’t happen that way and I didn’t push it that direction either.  I need to get on the roof and clear limbs and tree debris and gutters again before more rain shows up.  Still the majority of the lawn needs picked up and raked also.  Well, I guess I had better go get busy….

Removing or disabling an item of safety equipment from any park service vehicle or watercraft is an automatic firing offence.  If the boats are in the water they must have their full compliment of safety equipment to comply with coastguard regulations governing passenger carrying commercial watercraft.

Yeah bummer.  We know.
