Made it through the day riding smooth.  Picked up 3 of the boys from mom and pops place on the way home.  For beat 2 games of pool then came home.  I have been thinking about that cheesecake and ganache all day long.  Came home, changed into civies and sat down with a couple of my women (wife and daughter) and enjoyed a generous portion of cheesecake and some milk.  This past weekend has been a challenge eating wise.  I’m so ready to be done with all of the extra carbs and sugars.  Not that I didn’t enjoy them but I can feel the difference eating clean vs. not.  The cravings are coming back and I feel sluggish.  I ate good today except for the cake when I got home.  Back on track starting tomorrow.

I missed it but saw that you did have a happy birthday. I had an aunt that made me a cheesecake a few times for my birthdays. I miss her, she has gone one now, her husband (my uncle) lives in Wyoming where they had moved about 10^? years ago. I think he is 87 years old and has a auto body shop where his main focus is old car restorations. I do know he got married the year I was born.

He posted on Facebook the other day he has no plans to ever retire.

Brett I saw the bday mention but I guessed it was likely one of the kids the way you worded it. You coulda bit a bite off the snickers then gave the rest to him.

I only eat the snack size chocolate bars and eat 2 at the most but usually just 1. My favorite at the moment is Hershey's.

I had to stop buying Whoppers. I would buy them in the large milk carton box and couldn't stop eating them until they were gone. I was so glad when the doubled the price of them.. I wasn't going to pay that for them.

I was up a couple times during the night and at 4:30 I herd Betty Lou getting up with the dogs. I told her she could go back to bed and I'd take care of them.
Made and got coffee then turned on the news/weather.
It's 62 right now and headed for 72 with a 50/50 chance of rain.
I'm gonna run through the shower and head out to the Red Shed to see what I can get into today. I'll begin with shooting some paper with the 880 guns I resealed yesterday.
I also have an idea for moving a few shelves and such around in the shed to make better use of space.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! We made it! I got up at 0430 or so. Had my coffee and got Ayrabella off to school. I visited my chiropractor, boy have I missed him. I feel like at least a half-a-million bucks.   
I’m at work, I’m about to start up a 5-door freezer that I had thawed out & replaced the condensate pump, yesterday. Hopefully, all goes well from here out. I’d like to get home after this job. We’ll see.

Mornin’ airgun folks!

Just chillin’ with some quiet time and cappuccino this morning.  Alarm went off 0600.  Laid there until around 0630.  Got up, made espresso, read, texted some folks that were on my mind, just enjoying the coffee and the peace. 

Plans today are whatever I can/feel like around the house.  I’ll head out from here 1130 to head to pops to play pool for a couple hours.  After that it’s off to the factory to make widgets.  Release from service @ 2300 tonight.  As always I’ll be looking forward to my time at home again and the weekend.

Good morning, I have added another project iron to the fire, since the weather has put a hold on the other projects I am currently working on, I am having to find something to keep me outside. So I have a utility trailer that needs wood replaced so I can get supplies for the shed project to finish it, so I can get the gate project moved into the shed and get that finished. Sound like a never ending saga, huh? This is day 6 of the doom and gloom weather and I am not about to stay in the house anymore than I have to. Somebody asked me how is the retirement life going, I replied I need a vacation from it.    I will say this, the work schedule is way better.

 To bed at 2:00 and up at 7:30, My smart watch say 5 hours 17 min total sleep. I feel pretty good this morning. Today’s weather is supposed be sunny and to get up to 70°F.

 Among my order of new parts I got for my 1969 GMC is an OER windshield washer kit. I am not sure if I will install that today. I think it is a awkward job for someone my size and stiffness. I have never had working washers since I bought the truck and decided it is time to fix it. LOL
I need the truck tomorrow for a dump run, so I am not sure I want to tear apart the dash today.

 I put new outer and interior handles and escutcheons and new armrests on it a few days ago. I lubed the latches and window regulators and tracks too while I had the door panels off. It made a significant difference, it's funny how gradual changes over time go unnoticed.   

 Today and tomorrow I have packages scheduled for delivery, but their not mine. My daughter that lives in Great Falls MT is coming down for a visit soon and has ordered a bunch of stuff to be delivered here. So my wife or I have to keep an eye out for her stuff.

 I may finish mowing what I didn't get done the last time. The next six days are supposed to be great weather 70-75°F  so there is no rush on getting the mowing done before the next rain. I will probably mow my front yard because it is probably the tallest of anything right now and it would make my dogs happier too.

I think I'll try to make a front rest for my FWB601.   I've been using a couple borrowed or makeshift rests and they are not entirely satisfactory.    I'm going to try and make one that's perfect for that specific gun.   I don't plan to buy anything so it will involve some digging around through whatever scrap I have left over from other projects.

Picked up limbs, raked, picked up piles, used the Husqvarna to blow the carport and driveway.  Made 2 eggs, cut an avacado and made a cup of instant coffee.  Eating and getting ready to head out for the rest of the day.

Good evenin y'all.  I hit the ground running this a.m. and had no time to scan the forum or post.  It was not a bad day but I had to act as a supervisor which is never fun for me.  I'll be off before dawn tomorrow and home after dark like today most likely.  Driving boats all day.  The water is still very dark and unfortunately the river has dropped a foot or more in the last month.  On the plus side the manatee have all disappeared so no more manatee pinball.   I'm having to trim the motors up higher and higher to avoid loading the props with eel grass.  These motors are tilt trim only, no jack plates.  So trimming up changes the the thrust line.  Going up river with a full load now takes 3400 rpm and throws up a huge roostertail.  At those RPMs the whole barge vibrates like a tuning fork and every loose fitting rattles.  The engine noise feeds back through the PA when it's that loud.  Still, the passengers seem to enjoy it!

Go figure.

Internal alarm went off at 05:00 like usual even though I coulda slept in. 
 But that's OK... it's been a week from heck at work and I want to milk the weekend for every minute.
 Todays I plan an shooting more 10M indoors, need to stop by work later and check on progress, but it should be short and I'll take the Dawg for a ride.
Later is Grand-Son #9's birthday party. Hoosier Momma will be working "Slinging Beer" at the Ducks Unlimited Banquet so I need to go to the B-Day Party as the "Family Matriarch"... then I can join her... or not.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I stayed up late last night, no particular reason, but it was kind of nice to stay up a bit with the girls. I’ve been feeling pretty good lately. But, I still got up at 0530. It’s raining and the temperature is supposed to stay around 38*. I pumped up the ‘Cuda Max last night. The girls are going to visit and help an elderly retired nurse lady friend that my wife has made “friends” with. It’s a pretty neat situation that developed between my wife and Miss Bonnie. While they’re out, I’m going to shoot the ‘Cuda Max some from the garage. Other than that, I’m going to try to work on a little organizing and some small tasks around the house indoors.

Today, hmmm…

Don’t have much time before going into work.  The day shift lineman needs to leave a couple hours early so I’m heading in early to cover him.  It will only be 10 hours but in truth, I’m just not into being away from home lately.  I know it’s the wet and gray.  I go through this every year at this time.  Just got to keep forging ahead.  It’s not bad physically , it’s just the mental game.  I do notice the days are getting longer so that is good. 

So far I’ve had multiple cups of coffee (cappuccinos for those that are familiar with me) and done some conversing with Mrs. P, read, surfed.  Now I’m trying to find where I left my motivation.  Can’t seem to find it.  I’ll piddle around the house doing random, non-productive activities with lots of movement to look like I’m busy until time to head into work then I’ll do the same thing there so that I can justify them paying me to be there.  2300 tonight I should be off the payroll for the week and I’ll come home. 

Right now I’m thinking I need some breakfast.  Probably be eggs.  See ya! 👋🏼
