I'm sitting at the water place in town waiting to fill my water trailer. Then it will be a hour or more back to the house.

I have no idea.  I still have today and tomorrow off work.  I’ll go back to 32 hour shift Friday afternoon.  I am thinking that I should go back early.  I’m antsy with no purpose/list during this time off now.  All of the festivities are done so it’s back to the normal routine.

Go slap some wood together and throw it on the lathe, surprise yourself. Best way to beat boredom is doing something with your hands.

I do have a couple turning projects that I would like to do.  I also have a couple that need to get done.  I just don’t have the motivation. 

I also have some pallet boards that I picked up to finish/close a wall in the shop.  I should grab a couple boys and start getting that done.  It would go fairly quickly especially with many hands.  Not sure if they would want to help right now or not.  Maybe just one more cup of coffee first 🤣😎👊🏼

Didn’t get too involved but I did make some progress and made myself feel a small sense of accomplishment.

Brett that turned out nice. I use a lot of pallet wood for wood working projects, sometimes I find nice hardwood pieces for those special projects.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got up just after 0400, I’ve got a lot to do today. First stop is a quick run into Walmart for a Flambeau rifle case for my DF Mk2 and then visit my chiropractor. When I get back home I need to pack up for a visit to my Mom’s. We’re celebrating Ayrabella’s birthday and Christmas all over again with her Nana and my sister, Aunt Meme- to the kids. We’re having Mom’s and my Sister’s spaghetti tonight. My Mom’s having a hard time since losing her husband, I really wish we lived closer. I really hope to have a peaceful and love filled visit. For those who pray, please do so for us- for safe traveling there & back and peace while visiting.

Safe travels John. Not sure of your intended route but traffic is stupid this time of year.

Ben Lang says it's 41 out right now but it felt much colder than that when I opened the door to let the dogs out and back in. He also said it's only going to reach 50 today. Colder overnight temps tend to bring the mice in the house so I am staying vigilant with setting the snap traps. I set a half dozen or so around the house but I need to be careful where I put them because I use peanut butter to bait them and the dogs love peanut butter. I usually snap a couple mice a week. I get the traps at a local dollar store in packs of 4 for $1. When I trap a mouse I take trap and all to the outside trash in a ziploc sandwich bag.
Anyways.. The plan for today is to get back out to the Red Shed and continue revisiting my Crosman 2100 class guns. I'm moving the best 3 of the 5 I have into wood furniture and doing some trigger massaging to them.
I may need to fire up some heat in there to knock the chill off. As long as my fingers don't get cold I'm good to go.

Good morning, Today reload chicken feeders while waiting for it to warm up and dry out to finish transferring the design to the sheet metal(recycled roofing tin) and start cutting the design out. It shouldn't take long to cut it out, sanding and painting it will take some time.

 Might stop by Tractor supply and see if they have any deals on airguns, as they loaded up for Christmas and I bet a city of 10,000 could not buy them all

Went out and fired up the bottle gas heater in the Red Shed. I'll let it knock the chill off before I go back out. I didn't turn on the wall mount unit because I want to reserve the 40% in the main tank for in the house if we need it. So far the ceramic portables are dong the job. We have been very comfortable in the house and the ceramics are coming on and off to maintain that comfort.

Awake @0630.  Outta bed @ 0645.  I had the idea to set the coffee maker (drip) to start brewing @ 0615 so I could wake up to fresh hot coffee.  That was nice this morning.  I’m halfway through my first cup already as I sit here surfing and reading.  I hit the 🦾 button on the heat and I have warm air blowing towards me and just some Christmas lights illuminating the room.  The rest of the house is dark and quiet… well, except the cat that I could hear churching his food then roaring (in his cat way) to make sure the jungle knows that he is large and in charge.  🤣

Well, after the pep talk (kick in the rear) from Kris yesterday to get out and get busy, I plan on getting some more pallet boards up on the wall.  I’ll finish those two small sections that I already started and I have one small section off to the left of the wall (double swing doors) to do and that will be complete.  It’s been a fun project and I didn’t even have to ask the boys to help.  They just showed up and kinda hung around so I started feeding them tasks and they were way into it.  These guys are great!

I woke up at 2:30 AM today, wide awake but managed to get a little more light sleep until 5:50 AM.
I had a total of 5 hours 44 minutes of sleep with 2 hours and 40 minutes being restful. So it was pretty good!


I haven't gotten my coffee yet but am about to.


My wife is going to spend the day with her sister, so I'll just take things as they come to me today. There are lots of things to do I just don't know what I want to do yet.

Mornin y’all.  It’s my day off so the pups let me sleep til nine.  Wallowed in the bed with the memsahib and a bunch of critters. Crab pots go down today.  I’ll pull them Saturday.  Not expecting much.  Too much rain and warm weather for good crabbing.  My shoulders will not let me throw a cast net right now so after I drop off the pots I’m going hunting.  The leaves are off the trees and the squirrels are getting wary.  I’ll be carrying one of the Hatsan Magnums so I’m gonna get a work out.

Getting ready to go do some pet setting. Will be there until Monday afternoon. New client so it will be interesting. The dog is kind of a spaze but sweet from what my daughter tells me. She's the one who has been taking care of the dog but can't right now. She adopted a new dog but she's got Giardia and isn't quite over it yet and she pet sits the dog at her home.
